  • Patent number: 11700847
Abstract: The invention is that of systems of methods for preserving vital assets such as human organs in transit. An exemplary system may include a central software application and processor for storing vital asset identifying information in a database and displaying real-time transit information in relation to the asset to authenticated users. Application programming interfaces are provided to allow authenticated users to monitor location and environmental data transmitted from the proximity of the asset to the central software application for processing and display on graphical user interfaces. An exemplary system enables methods of reallocating freight from a first to a second transportation asset to avoid delays and prolonged exposures to adverse environmental conditions. In certain embodiments, unmanned aerial systems may be deployed to intervene in the transit channel and overcome such delays or exposures.

  • Patent number: 11645589
Abstract: A system is described that infers that a user will need to complete a trip and selects a transportation service that the user can use to complete the trip. The system predicts a time to request a vehicle associated with the transportation service for completing the trip such that the request has sufficiently high degree of likelihood, of causing the vehicle to arrive at a future location by a final departure time; the final departure time being a latest time at which the user is predicted to need to begin traveling. Responsive to determining that a current time is within a threshold amount of time of the predicted time, the system sends, to a reservation system associated with the transportation service, a reservation request for the vehicle associated with the transportation service for completing the trip.

  • Patent number: 11620607
Abstract: A delivery system includes a moving apparatus on which a parcel to be transferred to a predetermined region is loaded and that is capable of moving the parcel along a circulation route along which the moving apparatus circulates in the region. The delivery system acquires delivery information including position information about a delivery destination of the parcel, generates a delivery plan for delivering the parcel to the delivery destination, based on the acquired delivery information, and controls the moving apparatus such that the moving apparatus moves the parcel to the delivery destination on the circulation route based on the delivery plan and fulfills the transfer of the parcel when permission information indicating that the transfer of the parcel is permitted has been received.

  • Patent number: 11620610
Abstract: A buy-online pickup-in-store (BOPIS) order at risk of abandonment is saved by converting the order to same-day delivery. A risk deadline is established using a combination of cognitive prediction, a customer-specific time frame, order constraints, and real-time data. The cognitive prediction uses a customer profile having historical data pertaining to previous BOPIS orders from this customer. If the product is not picked up by the risk deadline, a check is made to see if same-day delivery is feasible. If so, a notification is transmitted to the customer with proposed delivery details. The notification can be sent at an optimal time based on previous notifications sent to the customer and time constraints related to the order, and using an optimal communication channel based on previous engagement rates with the customer over different communication channels. Once confirmation is received from the customer, the product is shipped, saving the sale.

  • Patent number: 11615372
Abstract: Distributing warehousing of products by receiving, by a distributed warehousing system, a first notification that a product was delivered to a first customer at a first location. The technology receives a designation of the delivered product for return, and then identifies a second delivery location for the designated product, the second delivery location being a location of a second customer. A second notification of pickup of the designated product from the first location is then received by the technology. The technology then directs delivery of the product to the second location, without an intermediate storage of the product at a brick-and-mortar distribution facility, in response to receiving the second notification, and receives a third notification that the product was delivered to the second location.

  • Patent number: 11521449
Abstract: When attending an event at a venue, the attendee typically presents ticket information that is scanned by a venue scanner. In conventional systems, once validated, the scanner prints a paper stub that typically includes seat location data. Production of this paper stub can be dispensed with, and the associated data conveyed by the paper stub as well as additional information not contemplated or possible with paper stubs can be conveyed by an electronic stub or e-stub that resides on a device of the attendee, generally the same device employed to present the ticket information.

  • Patent number: 11200515
Abstract: Techniques for facilitating reservations between a first creative entity and a first venue. Digital audio data for a first creative entity is analyzed to determine acoustic attributes. A plurality of potential venues are determined. A machine learning model is used to calculate an estimated demand metric for the first creative entity for each of the plurality of potential venues, based on a venue profile for the respective venue and acoustic attributes for the first creative entity. Two or more venues are selected and a proposed itinerary is created. A digital order is generated based on the proposed itinerary. User profile data for the first creative entity is updated, upon successful completion of the digital order, and a digital transaction is generated to automatically charge a determined first amount to an account for the first venue and to transfer a determined second amount to an account for the first creative entity.

  • Patent number: 11017326
Abstract: A method is provided for booking a hotel room that improves the satisfaction level for a consumer and increases revenue for the hotelier. Consumers may benefit from being able to select property-specific and room-specific attributes for which they perceive enhanced value, while property-specific and room-specific attributes that a consumer does not particularly value may be avoided in an effort for the consumer to spend on features they desire. Further, hoteliers may benefit from being able to offer room-specific attributes and add-on features that create additional revenue streams for the hotel. Additionally, the transparency afforded the consumer of the room-specific attributes available versus those selected provides the consumer with a level of expectation that is more aligned with the hotel and the specific room they selected, thereby improving customer satisfaction.
