  • Patent number: 9033675
Abstract: A rotary vane compressor includes a cylinder chamber having an ellipsoidal inner wall shape, a rotor rotatably provided in the cylinder chamber, a vane held in the rotor so as to contact with an inner wall surface of the cylinder chamber along with a rotation of the rotor, a vane slot provided on the rotor and offset on a reverse rotational side of the rotor from a radial line passing over a rotational center of the rotor, and a controller for controlling a rotation of the rotor. The controller reversely rotates the rotor for a predetermined time upon activating the compressor. According to the compressor, chattering can be prevented by surely protruding the vane from the vane slot without providing extra parts. In addition, the vane can be produced with easy working processes at low cost.

  • Patent number: 9011109
Abstract: In a swash plate type variable capacity compressor that changes a stroke of a piston by controlling the pressure of a crank chamber (6), lubrication oil contained in refrigerant gas is maximally prevented from being circulated outside the compressor. Some of discharged refrigerant gas in a discharge chamber (22) flows into the crank chamber (6) through a communication passage (25) (25a and 25b) and a control valve (27), while some of the discharged refrigerant gas flows out to a suction chamber (21) from the crank chamber (6) through a second communication passage (26) and an orifice (28), and the pressure of the crank chamber (6) is controlled through a balance between an inflow amount and an outflow amount. Oil storage chamber (30) extends downstream of the control valve (27) on the first communication passage (25) to separate oil and store the separated oil. Oil return passage (31) returns the oil stored in the oil storage chamber (30) to the crank chamber (6).

  • Patent number: 9004885
Abstract: The present invention relates to a reciprocating compressor in which a cylinder of a compression unit is tightly fixed to a hermetic shell, and a stator of a reciprocating motor is fixed to the hermetic shell by a support spring consisting of a leaf spring, so as to reduce the gap between a compressor body and the hermetic shell and thus reduce the size of the compressor. In addition, the masses of the members of the reciprocating motor and of the compression unit, as well as the elasticity of the spring supporting the members, are properly adjusted to offset the force being applied to the hermetic shell, thereby minimizing the vibrations of the hermetic shell. Further, the relative velocity of the reciprocating motor increases such that the relative velocity of the reciprocating motor is faster than the relative velocity of the compression unit, thereby improving the efficiency of the motor.
