  • Patent number: 11719231
Abstract: A processing chamber is connected to a lock chamber. For evacuating the lock chamber and/or the processing chamber a vacuum pump system is provided. The latter comprises a vacuum pump equipment having at least one vacuum pump. Further, the vacuum pump system comprises a valve device for connection to the lock chamber as well as a controller. For noise reduction, a cyclically occurring operating parameter is determined by means of the controller. From said parameter it is determined at which point in time the valve is opened such that temporally before the opening of the valve the rotational speed of at least one of the vacuum pumps can be reduced. This results in a considerable noise reduction at continuing good pump-out times.

  • Patent number: 11698060
Abstract: A gas compressor includes an incompressible fluid source for storing an incompressible fluid. A rotary shaft is coupled to the incompressible fluid source. Operation of the rotary shaft draws the incompressible fluid up or down the rotary shaft. A piston chamber is coupled to each piston in a set of pistons. The incompressible fluid is delivered to the first piston by a controlled fluid valve assembly, to drive the first piston. The centripetal force from the rotation of the rotary shaft and the force of incompressible fluid from an impeller drive the first piston to compress a gas in the piston chamber of the first piston. The incompressible fluid is released from the first piston, by the controlled fluid valve assembly. The incompressible fluid is alternately delivered to the second piston to drive the second piston and compress gas.

  • Patent number: 11668296
Abstract: A hydraulic system includes a hydraulic valve, a load-holding valve arrangement, a flow-control valve arrangement, a working pressure sensor, a differential pressure sensor, and a speed sensor. The load-holding valve arrangement includes first and second load-holding valves connected to opposite ends of the hydraulic cylinder. • Patent number: 11639720
Abstract: A system is provided for generating vacuum in a vehicle. The system includes a vacuum pump, an engagement clutch, an actuator, and a torque limiting clutch. The engagement clutch operatively connects a camshaft to the rotor. The actuator controls the clutch. The actuator is movable, based on air pressure in a vacuum conduit, between a low-pressure position in which the actuator causes the clutch to operatively disconnect the camshaft from the rotor, and a high-pressure position in which the actuator causes the clutch to operatively connect the camshaft to the rotor. The torque limiting clutch limits torque transfer to the rotor when the engagement clutch operatively connects the camshaft to the rotor. The system also provides control for hysteresis.
