  • Patent number: 9236924
Abstract: Method and arrangement in a user equipment for adjusting signals transmitted in uplink to a network node based on a feedback value received from the network node. The method includes transmitting a signal, to be received by the network node. A feedback signal is received from the network node, providing feedback on the transmitted signal. A value of a time delay of the received feedback signal is obtained. Signals transmitted in the uplink are adjusted according to the received feedback signal to compensate for the obtained time delay value of the received feedback signal. Related methods and arrangements in a network node are presented.

  • Patent number: 9237093
Abstract: An adaptive router anticipates possible future congestion and enables selection of an alternative route before the congestion occurs, thereby avoiding the congestion. The adaptive router may use a primary route until it predicts congestion will occur. The adaptive router measures packet traffic volume, such as flit volume, on a primary network interface to anticipate the congestion. The adaptive router maintains a trailing sum of the number of flits handled by the primary network interface over a trailing time period. If the sum exceeds a threshold value, the adaptive router assumes the route will become congested, and the adaptive router enables considering routing future packets, or at least the current packet, over possible secondary routes.

  • Patent number: 9197339
Abstract: Isolator devices for a class A evacuation system are provided. The isolators each have specific address in the system. This allows the isolators to report individually with address information and status information, for example related to errors in the system and the device in particular. In an embodiment, a speaker can be connected to the device. This allows the speaker to be addressed individually so dedicated information like alarms and spoken messages can be sent to specific speakers. Dedicated isolators are available for announcing, powering the network and routing network traffic. Routers provide a possibility to create multiple loops, reducing wiring and increasing redundancy. By sending data in different branches by means of spread spectrum modulation, more data can be sent and effects of crosstalk between branches is highly reduced.

  • Patent number: 9172734
Abstract: Managing and delivering media content are provided. A device includes a media recording structure for capturing a live data stream. The device further includes a media management application executable by a processor. The media management application provides a graphical user interface via an input/output component, the graphical user interface including a user-selectable option for managing the network-based storage of media files captured by the media recording structure. When selected, the user-selectable option generates an alert indicating an amount of recording time remaining for the live data stream before a storage capacity of the network-based storage is reached. The recording time is determined as a function of an encoding rate at which the live data stream is being captured. Consumption of the network-based storage is monitored for the live data stream, and an alert is generated pursuant the encoding rate.

  • Patent number: 9118452
Abstract: The invention relates to a method comprising classifying user equipment (UE) cells, to which carrier aggregation is applied, into a plurality of time advance groups. Uplink-time synchronization is managed using the time synchronization of a primary cell (Pcell) in the time synchronization group to which the primary cell belongs. For other time synchronization groups, the uplink time synchronization is managed using the time synchronization of a secondary cell (SCell) that is particularly set in the relevant time synchronization group. Thus, the plurality of time synchronizations can be effectively managed for the UE and a base station (BS).
