  • Patent number: 10757637
Abstract: According to the present invention, the processing load required for a cell search can be reduced even if communication is carried out with a communication system that has a plurality of parameter sets that configure radio frames. A user terminal is provided which is configured to carry out communication with a communication system having a plurality of parameter sets that respectively configure radio frames, the user terminal including a receiving section configured to receive synchronization signals transmitted from the communication system, and a control section configured to control a cell search based on the received synchronization signals. A signal configuration of each synchronization signal transmitted from the communication system is the same, without depending on a parameter set that configures a radio frame.

  • Patent number: 10757583
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a beam correspondence between a set of synchronization signals transmitted by a base station and an uplink positioning reference signal. The UE may receive a synchronization signal from a base station and determine a transmit beam for the UE to use to transmit the uplink positioning reference signal based on the received synchronization signal and the identified beam correspondence. The UE may then transmit the uplink positioning reference signal using the determined transmit beam. A base station may identify a beam correspondence between a set of synchronization signals and an uplink positioning reference signal, and transmit an indication of the beam correspondence. The base station may then receive the uplink positioning reference signal from a UE based on the transmitted indication of the beam correspondence.

  • Patent number: 10742375
Abstract: The invention is directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for determining timing relationships of pilot and data in mobile network communications. Specifically, an uplink (UL) transmission is received at a base station (BS) from a user equipment (UE) in network communication with the BS via a communication channel. Based on the UL transmission, a channel coherence time is determined indicating a period of time during which the communication channel is considered to be substantially unchanged. In response, a total transmission duration is determined based on the channel coherence time indicating a period of time associated with transmission of a data frame.

  • Patent number: 10735520
Abstract: A control device includes a cyclic communication part, a message communication part, and a communication management part. The cyclic communication part performs communication according to a preset cyclic period. The message communication part performs communication that need not conform to the cyclic period. The communication management part manages a communication schedule for the cyclic communication part and the message communication part. When it is detected that control data scheduled to be communicated is data for preferentially selecting communication in the cyclic communication part, the communication management part detects a communication state of the cyclic communication part. When cyclic communication is possible, the communication management part stores the control data in the cyclic communication part, and when cyclic communication is not possible, the communication management part stores the control data in the message communication part.

  • Patent number: 10694341
Abstract: Wi-Fi services multicast to a subnet in a software-defined network (SDN) are extended. An SDN controller centrally monitors a data plane of a Wi-Fi network. Advertisements for services within a first subnet by an advertising station are forwarded to the SDN controller. Parameters of the service of the advertising station are extracted for storage by performing deep packet inspection on the one or more packets. Queries for services within a second subnet by a querying station are also forwarded to the SDN controller. Parameters of the service of the querying station are extracted for storage by performing deep packet inspection on the one or more packets. The query for service to the advertisement matches responsive to the advertisement parameters compared to the query parameters. Responsive to matching, a set of connection parameters necessary for the querying station at the second subnet to connect to the advertising station at the first subnet is sent.
