Abstract: Cable retainers may include a panel having a pair of loop locks. The loop locks may engage each other to form a loop. The cable retainer may include a first and a second retention loop. Each retention loop may have a finger with a slot formed at a fold line of the finger. Each retention loop may also have a flap with a tab formed at a fold line of the flap. The finger and the flap of the first retention loop may be located directly across the panel from one another. The finger of the second retention loop may be located at a first end of the panel while the flap of the second retention loop may be located at a second end of the panel. The tabs and slots of each retention loop may interlock to form a rectangular cable passage. The cable retainer may be formed entirely of paper and may be formed without adhesive.

Abstract: A packing box for packaging of playing cards has, in an assembled state, a shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with six faces including front and rear faces, right and left side faces, and top and bottom faces. The packing box includes cut lines in two locations at a predetermined interval in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the rectangular parallelepiped, and a central band in a portion defined by the cut lines provided in the two locations. The right and left side faces of the packing box can be removed along the cut lines such that side edges of the playing cards within the packing box are exposed.

The portable cup holder is made with a minimum amount of material that may be folded rapidly and easily, and comprises a bottom portion 1 forming a bottom surface through which a cup opening 3 is formed, a fixing portion 4 connected to top and bottom ends of the bottom portion 1 and folded vertically, a rising portion 7 folded and disposed vertically at right and left ends of the bottom portion 1, a top portion 2 connected to the rising portion 7 forming a top surface and including the cup opening 3a, and a handle portion 10 folded vertically upwards at the top portion 2 that forms a handle.

Abstract: A shipping container system comprises a bottom panel, a plurality of side panels, and a top panel, each with interlocking features. The side panels interlock with the bottom panel to assemble a self-supporting shipping container. A plurality of horizontally oriented slots are formed in an opposing pair of the side panels, and arranged at different heights between the bottom panel and a top edge of the side panels. A cross member is positioned at a selected height by insertion into an opposing pair of the slots, in order to restrain one or more shipping units against vertical motion inside the shipping container. The top panel interlocks with the side panels to cover the shipping container, and is spaced above the plurality of shipping units at a clearance maintained by the cross member.

Abstract: A vapor hydrated packaged catheter assembly and method of manufacturing and distributing same includes a gas impermeable package housing a catheter within a catheter-receiving cavity. The catheter assembly has a hydrophilic coating applied to at least a portion of the outer surface of a catheter tube or shaft which may be surrounded by a sleeve to provide a no-touch, sure grip feature. The catheter assembly is disposed within the catheter receiving cavity of the package together with a limited amount of a vapor donating liquid provided as a source of vapor to activate the hydrophilic coating. The amount of vapor donating liquid is less than the amount that would otherwise be sufficient to cause a spill hazard. It may be loose liquid as a desired percentage of the volume of a tube-receiving portion of the catheter receiving cavity of the package, or it may be contained in a liquid sequestering element.

Abstract: A unique laptop computer or similar device carrying case, which can also shield an individual from electromagnetic radiation (EMF) including RF microwave radiation and also heat transfer from the laptop computers when opened or in the closed positions. A conductive fabric is positioned against non-conductive plastic sheeting and is rolled up on itself, on four sides, to provide a larger effective virtual shield in the two side insulating sections, each of which includes an inner luan material with optional magnetic shielding or a perforated metal shield and a solid metal shield in the base to protect against electromagnetic radiation. The shield can be incorporated in existing cell phone/PC cases or flip top cell phone cases. Further, a pocket shield can be used to store cell phones in apparel pockets.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of preserving a sensor in a container, said sensor comprising a sensing area of metallic or a semi-conducting material covered with molecules having a MW>100 Dalton, said molecules being bound to the material wherein at least the sensing area of the layer is kept submerged in a storage solution, said storage solution having a composition that consists for at least 80% by volume of at least one compound chosen from water, ethanol, triethylene glycol and isopropanol, with the provisios that if the concentration of ethanol is at least 80 vol. % of the storage solution ethanol is present in a concentration of no more than 93% by volume of the storage solution; if water is present, it is present in a concentration of less than 80% by volume of the storage solution. The invention also relates to a container containing a sensor and a storage solution.

Abstract: A single piece edge protector for curved and curvilinear-shaped objects includes a preformed, rigid, laminated U-board having a bottom wall, and a first sidewall, and a second sidewall which include preformed angled cuts. The preformed cuts are formed at about 15 degrees from a plane perpendicular to the bottom wall. Each sidewall of the edge protector is a mirror-image of the other such that a preformed cut on the first sidewall is directly across from a preformed cut on the second sidewall. A plurality of preformed cuts form both V-shaped openings and a plurality of trapezoid-like legs on the first and second sidewalls. Each leg may have a similar surface area or a different surface area as an adjacent leg along the length of the edge protector. The edge protector is configured to follow a curvilinear perimeter of about 135 degrees and may include an end cap closure.

Abstract: A film belt package which facilitates loading on support rollers while maintaining the belt protected within the package until loaded on the support rollers. This film belt loader package supports the film belt under tension and in a configuration which substantially replicates its configuration when located on such support rollers. The belt, on its tension support, is enclosed by a member which is adapted to engage such film belt for urging such film belt off of the tension support in order to load such belt on support rollers.

Abstract: A data cartridge handling system comprising a plurality of carrying cases, each case having a base, a hinged lid, and a carrying handle, and each being of suitable dimensions to house an insertable partitioned tray designed to hold a predetermined number of data tape cartridges having one of a variety of sizes. The cases may be removably inserted into a shelving module by sliding the case horizontally between spaced supports, and the entire system may be placed on a desktop or inverted and mounted under a desk or table.

Abstract: A collated fastener strip includes an elongated flexible plastic web having a row of projecting tabs along one or both of its elongated edges. Each tab is provided with an open ended slot with an opening intermediate its end in which is frictionally retained the shank of a nail or screw. The opening is of a quadrilateral configuration to provide improved frictional contact with the fastener shank. The location of the opening intermediate the ends of the slot divide the tab into two arms that can be deflected to accommodate fasteners of different sizes while retaining adequate frictional engagement therewith.

Abstract: The invention described herein is a storage container adapted to hold a plurality of substantially planar flexible members, such as flexible magnetic discs. The container has a base section and a pouch section. The pouch section is adapted to be fitted into the base section in a closed position and the pouch section is adapted to rotate about an axis such that in an open position the pouch section rests against the base section. The pouch section further has a partial front wall which is adapted to pivot about an axis enlarging the pouch section greatly facilitating the insertion and removal of the flexible planar member. Finally, the storage container has detent means to provide positive closure in the closed position.
