Abstract: A very high speed SHF-EHF radio system having a very large capacity of several gigabits comprises at least one ultra-wideband base station and an ultra-wideband and multiuse terminal for very high speed wireless systems providing point-to-multipoint transmission of a plurality of simultaneous waveforms in order to provide a plurality of subscribers or customers of various types with multiple services. The base and the terminal comprise ultra-wideband transmitter/receiver means which are capable of exchanging a plurality of waveforms delivered by multiplexes of various modems. The radio of the base has at least one microwave spectrum generator for the multiplexes optimized for each service and for any type of customer. The transmitter/receiver of the radio of the terminal is suited to operating in the subband of the downlink channel and in at least one of the two-way subbands.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for moving between delay sensing and packet loss based congestion control states. In connection with communicating over a network by sending and receiving data, one or more network devices automatically selects between a first and a second congestion control state for the sending and receiving of the data based a predetermined algorithm. The devices move between the first and the second congestion control states to maintain a bit rate associated with the sending and receiving at a predetermined threshold according to the predetermined algorithm.

Abstract: A method and a remote digital unit in a central office of a core network, for handling a radio communication for a mobile terminal being connected to an access point at a local site. The remote digital unit determines that the mobile terminal can be served locally by a local digital unit connected to a local signal switching unit at the local site, and instructs the local digital unit to locally process signals to or from the mobile terminal in the communication. The remote digital unit further schedules the signals over a radio interface between the mobile terminal and the access point, and sends updated scheduling information to the local digital unit to indicate the scheduling, thereby enabling the local digital unit to handle the radio communication according to the updated scheduling information.
Abstract: Systems, methods and devices for failure analysis are provided. Using aggregation flow mining (AFM) or a similar method, an integrated mining of flow (IMF) acquires, from each router to be tested, information relating to each flow. The IMF, in relation to each of the routers, obtains distributions of statistical information such as throughput or difference for each flow; calculates, in relation to each of the distributions, a Mahalanobis distance in relation to the expected value of a reference distribution; and makes a comprehensive assessment of the distributions to perform a fault determination. When the fault determination is performed, a normal value of the distribution used for comparison is acquired from AFM and updated through feedback as needed. After the results of fault determination relating to other routers are assessed, the expected value of the standard deviation and the average value of the reference distribution used for comparison are updated.
