  • Patent number: 11243928
Abstract: Cloning enterprise content management systems is described. A first remote procedure call is executed to a source database management system associated with a source enterprise content management system to retrieve a source object type from the source enterprise content management system. A second remote procedure call is executed to a target database management system associated with a target enterprise content management system to create a target object type in the target enterprise content management system, wherein the target object type is based on the source object type. Source metadata tables associated with the source object type are retrieved from the source enterprise content management system. The source metadata tables are stored as target metadata tables in the target enterprise content management system.

  • Patent number: 11243986
Abstract: A method for determining an intervention response category for provisioning workflows. The method determines provisioning features of a provisioning step. The method performs outlier detection to identify and remove outliers from non-intervention data to produce a non-intervention normal data set. The method performs iterative grouping on the non-intervention normal data set to determine significant variables in the provisioning features. The method performs response mapping of provisions using results of the iterative grouping including a significance of errors and a presence of errors in the non-intervention normal data and partial intervention data to categorize the provisions into a response category.

  • Patent number: 11226950
Abstract: Techniques for providing feed-based case management on an online social network. A user interface that includes a publisher and an information feed is provided. Information associated with a record is received and the record is updated in a database system. A feed item associated with the database system update is generated and provided in the information feed. The feed item includes one or more actionable selections providing a reference to the publisher. Selection of one of the one or more actionable selections causes the publisher to be operable to receive further information associated with the record. The record is capable of being updated based on the further information. In some implementations, the record is a case and the user interface serves as a single interface for all interactions required in solving the case.

  • Patent number: 11221922
Abstract: Differential or selective elective data transformation, which can include compression and/or encryption, is applied to selected data subsets, such as selected table spaces, of a database during a single database operation. In response to a received backup command, a backup utility of a database management system obtains data from a number of data subsets of a source database that are specified for inclusion in a backup image. At least one of the data subsets is specified for data transformation while subsets are not. The data from the specified data subsets is identified in the obtained data, and transformed prior to writing a single backup image to archive media. The backup image therefore contains both transformed and untransformed data. The selection of data subsets for transformation can be made automatically without requiring user specification according to predefined data characteristics including subset size, data type, compressibility, or encryption.

  • Patent number: 11222047
Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and systems that, upon identifying a set of distribution contacts, generate clusters of distribution contacts from a sampled subset of distribution contacts and assign remaining distribution contacts from the set to the generated clusters for visualization in a user interface. By clustering a representative sample of such distribution contacts, the disclosed methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and systems can quickly analyze and identify contact characteristics in clusters of distribution contacts, including common contact characteristics exhibited by a given cluster's contacts. The disclosed methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and systems can accordingly respond to user requests for a cluster analysis by expeditiously generating cluster visualizations identifying contact characteristics of clustered distribution contacts.

  • Patent number: 11216427
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, an electronic device and a computer-readable medium for managing metadata. The method disclosed herein comprises: obtaining a check marker from a remote device; determining whether the check marker indicates that user data and metadata have been backed up in the remote device, the user data and the metadata being generated by an operation executed by a user on an object; and in response to the check marker indicating that the user data and the metadata have been backed up in the remote device, marking the metadata as removable metadata. In this way, the embodiments of the present disclosure can improve garbage collection efficiency of a storage system and execution efficiency of a metadata integration task.

  • Patent number: 11204905
Abstract: A database system uses byte ordering for keys and a trie index to reference stored data. The keys of a database are converted into byte-comparable sequences of byte values. The trie index is generated including nodes connected by edges defining paths from a root node to leaf nodes. Each edge is associated with at least one byte value such that each path from the root node to a leaf node through one or more edges defines a unique byte prefix for a byte-comparable sequence of byte values. The leaf node of each path is associated with a database location value. A record is accessed in the database using a database location value determined from referencing the trie index using a byte-comparable sequence of byte values of the record generated from a key of the record. A trie structure and byte ordered keys may be used for partition or row indices.

  • Patent number: 11200910
Abstract: A processor may store a first version of an audio file and fragment the audio file into at least a first time segment. The processor may receive a first edit to the audio file and identify a first edited version of the first time segment in the first edit. The processor may update the first version of the audio file with the first edit, resulting in a second version of the audio file comprising the first edited version of the first time segment. The processor may receive a second edit to the first version of the audio file and identify a second edited version of the first time segment in the second edit. The processor may determine, based on the second edited version, that the second edit alters an outdated version of the first time segment, resulting in an edit conflict. The processor may notify a user of the conflict.

  • Patent number: 11169975
Abstract: A recognition quality management system and method is used to determine a final group quality grade (FGQG) for a database containing data structures pertaining to objects, where the FGQG is a single numeric score indicative of the quality of the recognition that has occurred within the database. The FGQG is calculated using a weighted algorithm incorporating at least three components: a string quality score (SQS) that is determined by a string distance calculation; an input quality score (IQS) that is determined from address confidence codes; and a link quality score (LQS) that evaluates a key field to determine grouping quality. The system and method allows for the determination of recognition quality across an entire database rather than using sampling and extrapolation, and thus leads to a higher quality result, and because the system and method is objective it allows comparison of recognition quality across competing recognition quality solutions.

  • Patent number: 11170029
Abstract: Embodiments collect, from an event stream having both client-side and server-side information from multiple tracking sources, user interaction records for a web application and supporting systems. The records are stored in a data store, and are retroactively correlated with conclusive user identifiers and, if applicable, with areas of interest. Attribution of interaction records to conclusive identifiers and areas of interest is based on links that have been established between identifiers. Established identifier links may be subject to one or more link removal criteria. If link removal criteria is satisfied for an established link, the link is broken. Once a link is broken, interaction records, found in the data store, that are associated with the inconclusive identifier of the broken link are no longer associated with the conclusive identifier of the broken link. Each interaction record that is associated with a conclusive identifier is assigned a confidence metric for the association.

  • Patent number: 11157470
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for data quality delta analysis on a dataset. The method provides a set of data quality rules for the dataset. At least one delta rule of a set of data quality rules is defined as relevant for delta analysis of at least part of the dataset, the delta rule being a delta analysis quality rule. Data changes on the dataset are tracked. In response to determining that a number of modified records of the at least part of the dataset is higher than a predefined insert modification threshold, a data quality score may be determined for said modified records using the delta rule.

  • Patent number: 11138263
Abstract: A method includes generating metrics based on a first plurality of interactions with first content of a playlist. A first metric indicates approval of a first content item of the playlist and a second metric indicates a first duration of playback of a second content item of the playlist during playback of the playlist. The first duration of playback of the second content item is greater than a first default duration of playback. The method further includes reporting at least the first metric and the second metric and receiving a modified playlist. The modified playlist may be the playlist modified based on at least the first metric. The method further includes identifying, in captured data associated with access to the modified playlist, a second plurality of interactions with second content of the modified playlist. The second plurality of interactions corresponds to fewer deviations than the first plurality of interactions.
