  • Patent number: 9587434
Abstract: A ladder having platform steps, the ladder being convertible between a deployed position for supporting a person or other load, to a storage, scaffold, or ramp position in which the steps lie in a generally planar arrangement. When deployed, the ladder steps remain parallel to each other and form a series of parallelograms with the rails of the ladder. The ladder is also capable of being locked or secured at various angles of deployment. The ladder further includes receivers to selectively receive accessories such as wheels, hooks, handles, or pads. The addition of accessories such as wheels allows the ladder in the storage position to be used as a creeper, dolly, or cart.

  • Patent number: 9474938
Abstract: A device for a removable attachment to a column member, such as a tree, includes a body having a pair of spaced contact surfaces. The body also includes a pair of spaced and elongated retention apertures that are configured to receive a flexible retention member, such as a strap, therethrough. The retention member initially retains the device to the column member, such that the contact surfaces are urged against the column member. In addition, the retention members are spaced apart such that their top portions are spaced further apart than their bottom portions. Thus, as the body is forced downward along the column member, the distance between the spaced retention apertures increases, causing the circumferential distance traversed by the retention member to increase, thus drawing the retention member taut.

  • Patent number: 9464449
Abstract: This invention is an electric ladder. It is like no other ladder you have ever seen. It has no rungs or steps but instead has a spacious work platform which traverses up or down at the command of the operator. It is powered by a rechargeable battery feeding an electric motor. The direction of rotation of the motor acting through a series of pulleys and cables moves the platform up or down. Fabricated from high strength graphite composites and utilizing the latest technology in batteries and small high output motors it is lightweight and easily portable for home or professional use.

  • Patent number: 9187954
Abstract: A ladder stabilizing assembly for extension ladders has two length adjustable legs attached to opposing sides of the ladder at substantially the midpoint of the working distance of the ladder and two length adjustable braces attached to opposing sides of the ladder near the bottom and are securely attached to the legs. Rods through the hollow rungs attach the legs and braces to the ladder. Heim joints at one end of each leg and brace attach securely to the rods and enable the legs and braces to pivot and swivel for optimum stability placement. The ladder and stabilizer function as a single unit with a wide four point base. The legs and braces are calibrated to assist in setting the ladder at the standard angle for safe use. The stabilizing assembly prevents the ladder from sliding, tipping or other movement and enables the user to work wearing a safety harness.
