Abstract: The present invention relates to a new method for the production of coloured cosmetic powders having a solid and creamy consistency for use on the skin of the eyes, face and body, to the powders of a solid and creamy consistency obtained with said production method and to their use as a cosmetic.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods for the prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of retinal ischemia and retinal inflammation. The methods involve the administration of an inhibitor of the protein tyrosine kinase pathway to an animal, such as a mammal, in particular a human, in an amount sufficient to treat the retina for ischemia or inflammation prophylactically or therapeutically. The inhibitor of the protein tyrosine kinase pathway is preferably genistein or an analogue or prodrug thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of any of the foregoing.
