Abstract: The ELECTRONIC WALLET CHECKOUT PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“EWCP”) transform customer purchase requests triggering electronic wallet applications via EWCP components into electronic purchase confirmation and receipts. In one implementation, the EWCP receives a merchant payment request, and determines a payment protocol handler associated with the merchant payment request. The EWCP instantiates a wallet application via the payment protocol handler. The EWCP obtains a payment method selection via the wallet application, wherein the selected payment method is one of a credit card, a debit card, a gift card selected from an electronic wallet, and sends a transaction execution request for a transaction associated with the merchant payment request. Also, the EWCP receives a purchase response to the transaction execution request, and outputs purchase response information derived from the received purchase response.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for facilitating customized process flows at an event. A beacon generating device is positioned at the event and is configured to transmit information including a unique identifier associated with the beacon generating device. A user having a mobile communications device running an event management application detects the transmission and sends the detected unique identifier to an event management server. Alternatively, the user's mobile communications device generates and transmits a beacon that is detected by an event organizer device. The event management server returns information to allow the mobile communications device or the event organizer device to run an event-related process.

Abstract: A first user device may receive, from a second user device, a request to communicatively couple to the first user device, and may establish a communication session with the second user device after receiving the request. The first user device may identify, after establishing the communication session, an inappropriate activity of the second user device relating to the communication session, and perform a set of actions based on identifying the inappropriate activity. The set of actions may include causing the communication session to be restricted, and providing, to a trust platform, a score for the second user device. The score may permit the trust platform to derive a composite score, indicative of a level of trustworthiness of the second user device, that enables other user devices, associated with the trust platform, to determine whether to grant access requests submitted by the second user device.

Abstract: Techniques and arrangements for industry vertical classification of merchants using merchant signals, based, in part, on data obtained from payment activity. The techniques can include identifying one or more clusters using the data associated with the merchant and classifying and/or reclassifying the merchant within a cluster and then a class using the one or more identified clusters.

Abstract: Disclosed is cash-release system and methods of use for releasing a cash balance of an account associated with a releasee from a secure facility. One embodiment includes a ticket/card printer/dispenser and a cash-release station operating at the secure facility and a network operations center operating remotely to the secure facility. The network operations center may include an operations processor that is coupled with the ticket dispenser and the cash-release station via a secure communications network, wherein the operations processor implements a cash-release management module to retrieve identity information for and the account balance of the releasee from an accounts-management and records system associated with the secure facility, to dispense an encoded ticket/card providing or linking to the identity information and the account balance, and to operate a cash-release station to read the encoded ticket, verify the identity information, and dispense the account balance to the releasee.

Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, system and computer program products for identifying and communicating errors or inconsistencies in data of an electronic tax return during preparation of the electronic tax return, e.g., presenting a message to a user regarding the error or inconsistency “on the spot” or immediately in response to identifying the error or inconsistency during a currently displayed interview screen. Error messages may be communicated to an interface controller that processes error messages or non-binding suggestions concerning same from a rule module by the rule module pushing messages to the interface controller, the interface controller pulling or querying the rule module, or by use of a shared memory or data store to which the rule module pushes messages and from which the interface controller pulls or retrieves the messages generated by the rule module.

Abstract: A credit line adjustment system that initiates and processes credit line increases and/or credit line allocations between multiple credit lines in response to credit line adjustment triggering events. In some examples, the system can obtain, for at least one existing credit line provided by an account provider to an account holder, information about a credit line adjustment triggering event. The system can also initiate a credit line adjustment for the account holder in response to the credit line adjustment triggering event, the credit line adjustment including an increase in the credit limit on the at least one existing credit line.

Abstract: A mobile device automatically determines the identity of a proximate automobile that has been activated, and further determines whether the automobile presently has active insurance coverage as one automobile of a multi-automobile policy. If the automobile has only base coverage, then the user is presented with a selection screen for activing coverage in order to comply with insurance requirements to operate the automobile on public roadways. Similarly, when the owner/user knows they will not be using the automobile for a long or indefinite period of time, then the active insurance can be turned off or transferred to another automobile on the multi-automobile policy.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating proposed budget amounts by a budget tool are provided. A budget system identifies a budget category for a user. Information associated with one or more payees of the user and payment history information associated with one or more payments made to a payee included in the one or more payees is obtained from a bill payment system. Based at least in part on the obtained information, the payee is identified by the budget system as a budget payee associated with the budget category. Based at least in part on the identified payment history information, a proposed budget amount for the budget payee is calculated. A presentation is generated that includes an indication of the budget category, an indication of the budget payee, and an indication of the proposed budget amount. The generated presentation is transmitted by the budget system for display to the user.

Abstract: A method for providing a gift includes receiving gift information comprising data indicative of a gift type, a maximum gift amount, a gift recipient, and a first financial account from a first computing device associated with a gifter and via a software application. The first financial account being associated with the gifter and the gift recipient having preregistered user account with the software application. The method includes identifying one or more recipient financial accounts associated with the gift recipient including at least a second financial account. The method includes identifying a gift-eligible transaction that is associated with the second financial account by monitoring transaction data associated with the one or more recipient financial accounts. The method includes transmitting a gift notification to a second computing device and outputting an instruction to initiate a transfer of a gift amount from the first financial account to the second financial account.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable media are disclosed for processing a card-not-present transaction. According to one embodiment, processing a card-not-present transaction can comprise receiving a request for a card-not-present transaction involving an enrolled consumer. The request can include information identifying the enrolled consumer. A record of information related to the enrolled consumer can be read and the enrolled consumer can be authenticated based at least in part on the information of the request and the record of information related to the enrolled consumer. In response to authenticating the enrolled consumer, a set of single-use payment information can be generated which can include a one-time password and a dynamic Primary Account Number (PAN) which is valid for a single transaction. The single-use payment information can be provided to the enrolled consumer or the merchant to complete the transaction in place of the true PAN.

Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for payment transaction overrides and system initiated payment splitting. In one embodiment, a first authorization request associated with a first account is monitored at an override computer, an override trigger is identified, and a transaction override approval is received. Override authorization requests are then sent, and responses to the override authorization requests are received at the override computer. A response to the initial authorization request is the sent based on the response received to the override authorization request. In alternative embodiments the override requests are cascaded, or include requests for new account creation.

Abstract: The Self-Directed Style Box Portfolio Allocation Selection Apparatuses, Methods and Systems (“PAS”) transforms portfolio allocation selection inputs via PAS components into trade orders and portfolio allocation confirmation outputs. The PAS determines a style box grid corresponding to current fund allocations of a fund portfolio of a client, and a fund listing corresponding to the style box grid. The PAS provides the style box grid and the fund listing to a display of a computing device of the client. The PAS receives an allocation selection command from the computing device of the client, the allocation selection command generated via at last one of the style box grid and the fund listing on the display. The PAS determines a portfolio rebalancing based on the allocation selection command, and updates to the style box grid and the fund listing according to the portfolio rebalancing.

The method includes receiving a set of assets associated with an investor account, transmitting an investment content request for an investment content associated with at least one asset of the set of assets, receiving the investment content including a plurality of investment content items, determining a plurality of content indicators associated with each investment content item, determining a set of relevant investment content including a plurality of display parameters based at least partially on at least a portion of the investment content and at least a portion of the set of assets, and providing the set of relevant investment content for display on a user device based on at least a portion of the display parameters.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for transmitting data to select users are presented. User information corresponding to users of a web service is accessed. Scores for each of the user is calculated based on the accessed user information. Select users of the web service are identified based on the calculated scores. A data object is generated and then transmitted to the select users.

Abstract: A gaming system is disclosed which comprises a game controller arranged to implement a game, at least one game meter arranged to obtain game related information, and an interface device arranged to facilitate transfer of at least some of the obtained game related information to a portable data storage device in response to a transfer instruction. A corresponding method of monitoring a gaming device is also disclosed.
