Abstract: Aminopyrazinones and aminotriazinones of the formula ##STR1## and the salts of these compounds with amines, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal bases or quaternary ammonium bases have good pre- and post-emergent selective herbicidal and growth-regulating properties.
