Abstract: The mobile device includes a visual input device, for capturing external visual information having real visual background information, and a processing device. The processing device is for associating a selected application with the external visual information, and for executing the selected application based on the external visual information and on user-related input information. The processing device for generating a visual output signal related to at least one virtual visual object in response to the application is further configured to provide the visual output signal to a projector device included within the mobile device such that the projector device will be configured to project said visual output signal related to the at least one virtual visual object onto the visual background, thereby modifying said external visual information.

Abstract: A computer program product is tangibly embodied on a computer-readable medium and includes executable code that, when executed, is configured to cause a data processing apparatus to display multiple objects in a single pane, where the multiple objects are visual representations of real objects and the multiple objects are dynamically sized and spaced relative to one another to fit all of the objects in the single pane. Abstract: An input device for the selection of medical images for representation on a large display is provided. An image configuration can be selected for display on the large display from a plurality of image configurations by the input device. Selecting the image configuration enables a plurality of images for display on the large display and their arrangement on the display to be determined. The image configuration is created according to requirements of a medical workflow associated with the image configuration. A representation suitable for a medical workflow may be displayed on the large display.

The present method obtains graphic location information by a first display software, and insert the document to a document corresponding to a second display software. The document is then transmitted to a remote device. Abstract: Present novel and non-trivial system, device, and method for generating an overlay of navigation chart information. A chart generator establishes an image data set comprised of chart information data. The chart information is visual navigation information appearing on a chart and drawn to a scale. The chart information, as it visually appears on the navigation chart, is reproduced in a first image. Then, an input shape selected or created by a pilot and placed over the first image is received, from which a geographical region is defined from the input shape. Then, the image data set is updated with overlay data comprised of second chart information data. The second chart information is visual navigation information appearing on a second navigation chart within the geographical region and drawn to a second scale. The second chart information is reproduced as an overlay sized as a proportion of scales.
Abstract: A multi-dimensional scroll wheel is disclosed. Scroll wheel circuitry is provided to detect input gestures that traverse the center of the scroll wheel and to detect multi-touch input. Abstract: An apparatus and a method related to an application of a mobile terminal using an augmented reality technique capture an image of a musical instrument directly drawn/sketched by a user to recognize the particular relevant musical instrument, and provide an effect of playing the musical instrument on the recognized image as if a real instrument were being played. The apparatus preferably includes an image recognizer and a sound source processor. The image recognizer recognizes a musical instrument on an image through a camera. The sound source processor outputs the recognized musical instrument on the image on a display unit to use the same for a play, and matches the musical instrument play on the image to a musical instrument play output on the display unit.
Abstract: The embodiments provide a data processing apparatus including a graphics controller configured to obtain a subset of selected time zones among a plurality of available time zones and generate a plurality of clock objects. Each clock object may be a graphical representation of a different time zone of the selected subset, and each clock object may provide a visual graphical indicator for a respective time zone. Abstract: Some embodiments provide a program that provides a graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI includes a display area for displaying an image that includes several pixels. Each pixel includes a set of color component values. The GUI includes a waveform monitor for displaying a graph that includes several graphical representations of the several pixels in the image. Each graphical representation is (1) plotted along a first axis of the graph based on a position of a corresponding pixel in the image and (2) plotted along a second axis of the graph based on the set of color component values of the corresponding pixel in the image. A color of each graphical representation is similar to a color of the corresponding pixel that is used for displaying the pixel in the display area.
