Abstract: A securement structure is positioned inside a channel of a first medical device to facilitate securement of the first medical device to a second medical device. The first medical device may be a ligation banding cap, and the second medical device may be an endoscope. The securement structure is adapted to be compressed between the second medical device and the first medical device to secure them together. This allows parts of different sizes to fit together.

Abstract: A delivery device includes a guidewire catheter and a delivery assembly extending about the guidewire catheter. The delivery assembly includes a locking mechanism that selectively engages a proximal handle of the delivery assembly with a push rod to which a vascular prosthesis is directly or indirectly attached. When an actuator selectively disengages the proximal handle from the handle body, rotation of the proximal handle is independent of longitudinal movement of the vascular prosthesis relative to the handle body, whereby the proximal handle can be moved along the handle body with rotation.

Abstract: Some embodiments relate in part to endovascular prostheses and methods of deploying same. Embodiments may be directed more specifically to stent grafts and methods of making and deploying same within the body of a patient. Stent embodiments may include tapered struts for an even distribution of strain. Stent embodiments may also include portions which are enlarged in a circumferential direction which may be configured to stabilize the stent in a constrained state.

Abstract: A suture retention device includes a stack of suture engaging members which can be provided by coils or other segments of a spring. A suture engages with the stack so as to permit travel of the retention device along the suture in one direction more facilely than travel along the suture in the other direction. The retention device can include a housing that encloses the spring or other stack structure, and the suture can pass from a first hole in the housing, through the suture engaging members, and to a second hole in the housing. A suture anchor can be attached to the suture, and the resulting assembly can be combined with a needle designed to introduce the anchor and suture into patient tissue, e.g. in the conduct of a gastropexy procedure.
Abstract: The present disclosure generally provides systems and methods of anchoring surgical wires, catheters, leads, and other medical objects in an effective, efficient, and cost-sensitive manner. In one embodiment, the present disclosure could include a system to secure a medical object. The system could include a body having a first inner arm, a second inner arm, and a first outer arm. The first inner arm and the first outer arm could include a pronged structure. The system could also include a crossbar having a bore to receive a screw. The crossbar could be disposed between opposing surfaces of the first inner arm and the second inner arm and could be coupled to sliding grooves disposed along the opposing surfaces. When the screw is in an engaged position relative to the crossbar, the pronged structure could be configured to secure the medical object.
