Abstract: The present invention is to offer an improved structure of draining mechanism for soft nose protrusion type diving mask, which essentially comprises a valve flap seat with a plurality of through holes, is directly and integrally jointed at the bottom of a nose protrusion body of a soft liner frame when moulding the said frame of the diving mask and provided with an one-way valve flap; based on the integral structure of valve flap seat and nose protrusion body, when operating "balancing pressure" to tightly pinch the nose protrusion body, no gap will be formed between the valve flap seat and the nose protrusion body to effectively prevent infiltration water; and a bent flow-guiding device moulded integrally with and beneath the nose protrusion body and extended to the two sides of diving mask can drain and guide flow so as to prevent the exhausted bubbles from affecting the diver's visibility.

Abstract: A vacuum filtration system especially adapted for removing smoke in the vicinity of ashtrays includes a vacuum manifold assembly for connecting a plurality of hoods adapted for placement over ashtrays to a common charcoal filter and vacuum blower/motor assembly. The vacuum manifold includes a plurality of flexible tubing segments secured to connectors. A plurality of replaceable disposable first stage filter elements in fluid communication with each of the hoods filter smoke prior to passage into the manifold, thus substantially reducing tar fouling of the system. In a first embodiment of the invention, the hood includes a circular disk shaped member which also functions as a drink coaster disposed in fluid communication with a conduit slidably received in a connector mounted in the table adjacent an ashtray location. The combined hood and coaster may be raised and disposed over an ashtray to collect smoke, or lowered against the table surface for use as a drink coaster.

Abstract: A new and improved skin protection device helps maintain the fluid and mechanical interconnection between a tracheostomy tube and an associated ventilator tube coupler while simultaneously substantially spacing the skin engaging surface of the tracheostomy tube external housing from the neck skin of a patient user. The device includes a fabric covered U-shaped elastic cradle member that has an attachment arrangement to removably attach the device to the tracheostomy tube and space it from the skin of the patient A removably attachable cradle cover is provided for attachment to the cradle member between its spaced apart tracheostomy attachment arms so as to cover the mechanical interconnection between the tracheostomy tube housing and the ventilator tube coupler to help prevent the under chin neck skin of the patient from becoming pinched in the mechanically interconnection between the tracheostomy tube and the ventilator tube coupler.

Abstract: A device for transferring cigarette portions from an output bed of a dual-rod manufacturing machine to an input roller of a filter assembly machine; the device having a transfer unit rotating about an axis inclined with respect to the bed, and which picks up the cigarette portions from the bed and feeds them respectively into first and second seats of a drum conveyor; the first and second seats being arranged respectively along a circular first path and a circular second path coaxial with a common axis; and drums being provided to transfer the second cigarette portions from the second path to a path defined by the input roller of the filter assembly machine and common to the first and second cigarette portions.

Abstract: A cigar substitute, comprising an elongate, inedible, flexible tube having a length such that when one end is held in the mouth, the other end protrudes out of the mouth and having at least one lumen containing a mixture comprising nicotine, nicotine derivative, nicotine substitute or nicotine substitute derivative, an edible carrier, and a flavoring substance.

Abstract: A combination incense stick holder, extinguisher, and ash tray that is adapted to store incense sticks therein, hold a burning incense stick thereon, capture ashes from the burning incense stick, and extinguish the burning incense stick. The combination includes a box, a lid that is replaceably disposed on the box, and a holder that is disposed on the lid. The box contains a chamber for storing incense sticks. The lid selectively opens and closes the box and has a trough therein for capturing the ashes from the burning incense stick. The holder extends upwardly from the lid and is formed with a slot for holding and extinguishing the burning incense stick.

Abstract: A money clip and cigar cutting apparatus is provided with a housing having an opening therethrough. A cutting blade is supported by the housing such that a sharpened edge thereof traverses the opening for cutting a cigar. A money clip is pivotally attached to the housing so that the money clip can be pivoted clear of the cigar cutter.

Abstract: A cigarette comprises a hollow rod for directing smoke and air from the lit end of the cigarette to a filter located at the mouth end of the cigarette. The rod is formed of tobacco material and/or other carbonaceous material, together with a binder and preferably an organic or inorganic salt. In one embodiment, the rod is a low density rod, which when lit burns in an inverted fire cone. In a second embodiment, a thin-walled rod is surrounded by a column of leaf tobacco. The thin-walled rod includes a salt, preferably calcium carbonate, in an amount preferably between 25% and 45%, which increases the combustion temperature. It also preferably is perforated to allow smoke generated in the tobacco column to be drawn into the hollow center passage. In either embodiment, the amount of wet particulate matter is reduced due to the improved combustion characteristics.

Abstract: In a metal golf club head, a recess portion with a closed bottom is formed in a bottom surface of a hollow shell cast of metal, and a sole plate, made of metal greater in specific gravity than the shell, is received in and secured to the recess portion in such a manner that the sole plate lies flush with that portion of the bottom surface disposed adjacent to a peripheral edge of the recess portion. The sole plate can withstand an impact produced when hitting a ball, and is prevented from becoming disengaged from the shell.

Abstract: A collapsible device used in marking the batter's box on a playing surface of a baseball field. The device uses a first frame half and a second frame half. Each frame half has an elongated side with first and second ends. A first arm with an inwardly disposed end is pivotally connected to the first end of the elongated side and an outwardly disposable end that is movable between an extended position and a closed position located against the elongated side. A second arm with an inwardly disposed end is pivotally connected to the second end of the elongated side and an outwardly disposable end that is movable between an extended position and a closed position that is located against the elongated side. A first hinge pivotally connects the outwardly disposable end of the first arm of the first frame half to the outwardly disposable end of the first arm of the second frame half.

Abstract: A smokeless ashtray system includes a vacuum manifold connecting a plurality of ashtrays to a charcoal filter and a vacuum blower/motor assembly. The vacuum manifold includes spiral wound metal flexible metal tubing segments secured to connectors by heat shrink tubing. L connectors connect end most ashtray locations to the manifold, T connectors connect intermediate ashtray locations, and a four-way connector connects a central ashtray location to the manifold and to the charcoal filter and blower/motor assembly. Each ashtray location includes a flue member having a first end threaded into the associated connector and a second end inserted within a recess formed centrally in a bottom surface of a cup-shaped ashtray. A connector mounting bracket includes locating apertures engaging alignment pins extending from a flat upper surface of the connector, and a flange on the flue member clamps the bracket to the connector.

Abstract: The improved player feature of the invention comprises an arm mounted for rotation about a vertical axis. An electromagnet is attached to the arm's outer end which is capable of suspending a ferromagnetic ball. Located below and along the path traveled by the magnet are a plurality of play features such as ramps, chutes, outholes and the like. A ball elevator is provided to bring the pinball to the electromagnet. The electromagnet is rotated over the play features. When the magnet is aligned with a desired play feature, the player presses a button to deactivate the electromagnet thereby dropping the ball onto the desired feature.

A housing has a first and second portion, the first portion defining a cavity, and the second portion defining a fan chamber. A venting channel allows gases to pass between the first and second housing portions. A lighter is provided to light a cigarette within the cavity. A mouthpiece and a cigarette sleeve for holding a cigarette define an inhalation channel open to the surrounding atmosphere. A replaceable cartridge includes a burn chamber in which the cigarette burns, a smoke treatment chamber adjacent to the burn chamber, a particulate filter between the burn chamber and the smoke treatment chamber, and smoke treatment means within the smoke treatment chamber for absorbing exhaled smoke passing within the smoke treatment chamber to produce a decontaminated gaseous mixture.

Abstract: A trading card capable of generating sounds comprises a thin housing having front and back surfaces, flexible sheets affixed to the front surface and to the back surface of the housing, a voice chip located in the housing for generating patterns of sounds, a battery located in the housing for supplying electrical power to the voice chip, and a switch located in the housing for activating the voice chip. The subject trading card may be activated by squeezing the flexible sheets between the thumb and forefinger at a selected switch location.

Abstract: The critical features of the putting stroke training device of the present invention includes Y-axis sensor means for detecting and signalling whether the face of a putter strikes a golf ball perpendicular to the path of the putter head and X-axis sensor means for detecting and signalling any abnormal acceleration or deceleration of the putter head. The Y-axis sensor means is disposed in a Y plane that is perpendicular to the golf ball striking face. The X-axis sensor means is disposed in an X plane that is perpendicular to the Y plane and is in the same plane as the shaft. This putting stroke trainer will assist the golfer in striking the ball with the club face perpendicular to the path of the putter head, and in developing a smooth pendulum swing and avoiding the "yips".
