  • Patent number: 6449781
Abstract: An apparatus for shock-like flushing in a fluid system, comprising an accumulating or blocking element (13) which upon supply of fluid from an inlet (2) is adapted to be set from a normal position to a flushing position where accumulated fluid flows through an outlet (14) to a following section of the fluid system, and to subsequently be reset to normal position. The blocking element comprises a canal, duct or pipe member (13) with a rotational portion (17) at an upstream end and with a normal position for blocking and accumulating fluid in the canal, duct or pipe member (13). The blocking element is kept at an inclination in the normal position by means of a spring or weight load (15) until a certain level of accumulated fluid is attained. Further, the blocking element can be lowered to the flushing position. The spring or weight load (15) is adapted to bring the blocking element (13) back from the flushing position to normal inclined position when a certain low fluid level is attained.

  • Patent number: 6385797
Abstract: An upper front annular frame and a lower annular frame have pivotally connected front portions, and a seat overlies the frames and has a rear portion pivotally connected to a rear portion of the upper frame. A pair of scissor linkages are connected to corresponding opposite side portions of the frames and have forwardly projecting arms supporting rollers engaging a bottom surface of the seat. A motor driven screw jack is supported by a bracket mounted on one side portion of the lower frame and is connected to tilt the upper frame between a horizontal position adjacent the lower frame and an elevated inclined position while the scissor linkages automatically move the seat between a horizontal position and an inclined elevated position projecting forwardly of the frames.

  • Patent number: 6240573
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing detergent into a toilet cistern includes a container, a membrane, a floating body, and a casing. The membrane has two sides that face an entrance of the container and are connected with the floating body, respectively. The floating body is surrounded by the casing, which in turn is connected to the entrance of the container. The floating body is movable up and down within the casing and moves according to a buoyant force due to the water level in the cistern resulting in a variation of the pressure difference inside and outside the container. Thus a well-defined quantity of cleaning liquid is released from the container, as determined by the movement of the membrane.
