    Abstract: Contact pins for glass seals is provided having an iron alloy and a method for their production. The contact pins are provided with a nickel layer and coated with rhodium and/or platinum or with palladium. The contact pins may be additionally provided with a layer of gold. The contact pins are first cleaned by degreasing and activating, preferably by activating through acid etching. Thereafter, the application of a nickel layer is performed under a protective gas atmosphere, followed by formatting at 850 to 1050° C. The protective gas atmosphere is preferably made up of 10 to 100% hydrogen, with the balance formed of nitrogen. This is followed by a coating with palladium or with rhodium and platinum, or with platinum, or with rhodium and gold.

    Abstract: A wire harness is routed from a luggage compartment of an automobile along a hinge arm and toward a luggage door. An extra wire length accommodation case is positioned between the hinge arm and a vehicle body panel of the luggage compartment in a vertical direction which is an operation direction of the hinge arm. The extra wire length accommodation case has a shape that includes an arced wire entrance having a wire harness outlet linked with an arced portion of the hinge arm, and an extra wire length bypass continuous with the arced wire entrance. The wire harness is passed into the extra wire length bypass of the extra wire length accommodation case, then is drawn out through the outlet of the arced wire entrance and routed along the arced portion of the hinge arm toward the luggage door.

A method of assembling bends tabs on the plate 90 degrees, installs a connector in an end knockout on a side of the box, bends in a direction toward the electrical conduit box opposing rows of a plurality thin metal fingers on the tab, secures the box to the plate, and feeds a wire carrier through the tabs, resting on the metal fingers bent and feeds the wire carrier into the connector.

Cover attachment arms on the leveling ring facilitate mounting of an electrical cover to the electrical box assembly. The electrical box assembly eliminates the need for clips and adhesive for leveling an electrical component with respect to the surface of a concrete poured surface.
