Abstract: A method of assembling a railcar bogie includes: a plate spring arranging step of making a pair of axle boxes support a plate spring extending in a car longitudinal direction, the axle boxes being arranged away from each other in the car longitudinal direction; a bogie frame arranging step of placing a bogie frame directly or indirectly on a longitudinal direction middle portion of the plate spring from above, the bogie frame including a side wall on which an opening is formed, the side wall covering the plate spring from an outside in a car width direction; and a measuring step of measuring a positional deviation between the plate spring and the bogie frame in the car longitudinal direction through the opening.
Abstract: A device and method for efficient transport of passenger cars or similar, with a high environmental and energy saving result, including, for example, a two-dimensional framework, a connecting element positioned and attached in a third dimension perpendicular to the framework. The two-dimensional framework and the connecting element together form a framework body of the device. A fastening device for vertical attachment and storage of a passenger car is provided. The passenger cars are placed vertically suspended in the container device such that the use of volume is significantly improved compared to prior solutions.
Abstract: A system for securing a railway apparatus includes a support platform and a mechanism for securing the railway apparatus to the support platform, capable of switching from an unlocked state to a locked state. The securing mechanism has a guide rail, a trolley guided by the guide rail along a path which, when the support platform is in the loading position, is parallel to a reference plane, a device for immobilizing the trolley relative to the guide rail, an attachment member for attaching the railway apparatus secured to the trolley; and locking members for locking the guide rail relative to the support platform, which switch from an unlocked position to a locked position when the securing mechanism switches from the unlocked state to the locked state in the loading position of the platform, by urging the guide rail downwards relative to the support platform.
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a railcar comprises an underframe and at least one hopper. The hopper is configured to transport a lading material. A longitudinal sliding gate assembly is coupled to the hopper and comprises: a pair of side walls coupled to a pair of end walls forming a discharge opening; a pair of tracks, one coupled to each end wall; a sliding gate slidably coupled to the pair of tracks; and a threaded drive screw coupled to the sliding gate and to the pair of side walls. Rotation of the threaded drive screw in a first direction moves the sliding gate along the tracks to an open position that permits the lading material to discharge, and rotation of the threaded drive screw in an opposite direction moves the sliding gate along the tracks to a closed position that restricts the lading material from discharging.

Abstract: The conveying apparatus includes support body for supporting object to be conveyed; linear moving member extended at predetermined height position and configured to move in predetermined conveying direction; first guide rail including first slope section inclined in conveying direction from predetermined first height position to second height position different from first height position, and configured to support the support body which moves in first slope section; and transmission mechanism configured to transmit driving force of linear moving member to support body when linear moving member moves in conveying direction. Transmission mechanism vertically extends and contracts in response to change in vertical distance between first guide rail and linear moving member extended at predetermined height position while support body moves on first slope section in conveying direction with being supported by first guide rail.
Abstract: A rail car truck bolster wear plate surface connects to a wear plate using two fasteners of different length. The first fastener passes through an upper opening and an upper channel into a first recess where it can be tightened against a first engaging surface. The second fastener is longer than the first fastener and passes through a lower opening and lower channel into a second recess adjacent to the first recess. The surfaces of the first and second recesses form a series of ribs in the upper end surface between the wear plate surface and the longitudinal centerline of the bolster.
Abstract: The disclosure provides a chassis component of a railway vehicle, and a railway vehicle, the chassis including two lower boundary beams, the two lower boundary beams being provided at an interval; and a cross beam component, the cross beam component being provided between the two lower boundary beams, wherein there are a plurality of cross beam components, and the plurality of cross beam components are provided along a length direction of each of the lower boundary beams at an interval, wherein at least one cross beam component includes a first cross beam and a second cross beam provided below the first cross beam in a height direction of the each of the lower boundary beams, the first cross beam and the second cross beam form a mounting cavity, and a part of a floor of a railway vehicle penetrates into the mounting cavity.
Abstract: A device of a roller assembly or a trolley for a cable transportation system, the device comprising: a frame having two facing walls, which are provided with two respective first holes having a first axis in common; a pin that engages the first holes; a body mounted rotatably about the pin between the two facing walls of the frame, the body having a hole, which has a second axis and enables the passage of the pin; and an auxiliary constraining device that is selectively releasable configured to keep the axes of the first holes of the frame and of the hole of the body coincident even in the absence of the pin.
Abstract: An appliance-support system in accordance with the present disclosure includes a truss and a positioning system coupled to the truss. The positioning system is adapted to support an appliance, such as a video display, light, speaker, or other device used during stage performances or events.
