The techniques include selecting, from a datastore, a chunk comprising one or more rows of data; comparing the one or more rows of data in the chunk with a first set of log events in a change log associated with the datastore, wherein each log event included in the first set of log events occurs after a first log event in the change log and prior to a second log event in the change log; selecting, based on the comparison, one or more non-conflicting rows in the chunk; and transmitting, to an output, one or more log events associated with the one or more non-conflicting rows in the chunk prior to processing a second set of log events in the change log, wherein the second set of log events occur after the second log event.

Abstract: A cognate specification system manages and enforces digital, canonical representations of entities that are added to and in the system by creating a composite entity key (“EntityKey”) that uniquely and immutably identifies each entity within the system, and that is created based upon the attributes of the entity rather than being arbitrarily assigned. Entities may be organized into various types or cognates, each associated with distinct sets of attributes. A physical or digital referent may be added to the system as an entity by specifying attributes. In such a system, any entity, whether a physical or digital referent, a process, or other type, is uniquely and verifiably identifiable, and may be linked to or associated with other entities, allowing users of the system to produce and access specification granularity beyond traditional approaches focused on systems interoperability.

Abstract: The present disclosure is generally related to a data processing system to coordinate parallel processing of audio queries across multiple devices. A data processing system can receive an audio input signal detected the display device and parse the audio input signal to identify an entity. The data processing system can transmit a query command to the display device to cause a multimedia content application to perform a search for the entity. The data processing system can access at least one of an address database and a multimedia content provider to identify a reference address for the entity. The data processing system can provide the reference address for the entity to cause the display device to present a content selection interface. The content selection interface can include an element for the reference address, prior to completion of the search for the entity performed by the multimedia content application.

Abstract: A set of clusters from a first set of vector representations (VRs) is identified. A center associated with each cluster from the set of clusters to generate a set of centers is determined. For each VR from the first set of VRs, and to generate a first set of distributions, a distribution of that VR is determined that indicates, for each center from the set of centers, similarity between that VR and that center. For each VR from a second set of VRs, and to generate a second set of distributions, a distribution of that VR is determined that indicates, for each center from the set of centers, similarity between that VR and that center. A set of divergence metrics associated with the first set of VRs and the second set of VRs are computed based on comparing the first set of distributions and the second set of distributions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-directional visual browsing on an electronic device are described. In example embodiments, a primary result and a peripheral result are determined. A display layout based on attributes associated with the primary result and the peripheral result is generated. The display layout is then formatted into instructions, which will cause a device to render the display layout. The instructions are transmitted to the client device.

Abstract: A media file system, apparatus, computer program product and method for storing a media file in a media file system. An exemplary method includes obtaining a predetermined number of frames and determining a set of portions for storing the media file, each portion having an identifier that is indicative of a multiple of the predetermined number of frames. Further, for each portion of the set of portions, associating with the portion the segment of the media file containing the frame indicated by the identifier of the portion, and associating each of the remaining segments of the media file with a portion of the set of portions. Moreover, storing the media file in the media file system as the set of determined portions, each portion comprising its associated segments of the media file.

Abstract: A multi-dimensional database and indexes and operations on the multi-dimensional database are described which include video search applications or other similar sequence or structure searches. Traversal indexes utilize highly discriminative information about images and video sequences or about object shapes. Global and local signatures around keypoints are used for compact and robust retrieval and discriminative information content of images or video sequences of interest. For other objects or structures relevant signature of pattern or structure are used for traversal indexes. Traversal indexes are stored in leaf nodes along with distance measures and occurrence of similar images in the database. During a sequence query, correlation scores are calculated for single frame, for frame sequence, and video clips, or for other objects or structures.

Abstract: A system and method for multimedia contact center interactions via an audiovisual asynchronous messaging channel is provided. In an embodiment, an organization might operate a website comprising information and for providing an entry point of communication with a contact center. A communications channel may be integrated directly with the organization's website, which includes an editable audiovisual interface. A user may interact with the editable interface through a variety of means, including sketching on a webpage and recording to create a video form of audiovisual asynchronous query over the web page. The interaction is analyzed and routed to an agent for handling. The agent may then be connected to the user through the asynchronous channel.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for presenting web application content. A method for presenting web application content includes executing a web application using a web browser, the web application configured to display a web page element in a web browser. The method includes identifying an application component requested by a user action. The method also includes querying a component registry database for the application component, the component registry database including one or more application components loadable by the web application. The method then includes obtaining, from a link in the component registry database, application component code for the application component. The method also includes incorporating the application component code into the web page element. The method also includes rendering the application component code and the web page element using the web browser so that the application component is displayed in the web browser as part of the web page element.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to providing metadata access to distributed data lake users. In some embodiments, a computing platform may load metadata from an external metadata database into a staging database. Then, the computing platform may transform the metadata in the staging database and move the transformed metadata to a master database. The master database may comprise information indicating a relationship between the transformed metadata and one or more distributed data lakes. The computing platform may receive a request to access one or more metadata items. Then, the computing platform may authorize a distributed computing cluster user to access at least one metadata item based on the information. Based on the authorization, the computing platform may provide, to the distributed computing cluster user, access to the at least one metadata item of the one or more metadata items.

The method further includes receiving multiple device records, each associated with an audience record. The method further includes determining multiple keywords, each associated with an audience record and determining a position for each keyword in the embedding space. The method further includes calculating a first distance between the position of the search query in the embedding space and the position of each audience record in the embedding space. The method further includes calculating a second distance between the position of the search query in the embedding space and the position of each keyword in the embedding space. The method further includes ranking each audience record based on the first distance and the second distance.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for computer system data management. A leader node that is in a leader-follower relationship with a follower node is deployed to manage metadata across a plurality of interconnected computing nodes of the computer system. Upon a failure of any sort that results in a loss of operation or a disconnection of the leader node, the followers undertake steps to bring up a new leader. Such steps to bring up a new leader include electing a new leader to replace the lost or disconnected leader and initializing the data state of the new leader node by causing the leader to request incremental snapshots from followers. Additional metadata that might have changed since closing the incremental snapshots can also be retrieved from the followers. The metadata that might have changed since the time of closing the incremental snapshot is subjected to verification using a consensus algorithm.

Abstract: A multiresolution parser (MRP) can selectively extract one or more information units from a dataset based on the available processing capacity and/or the arrival rate of the dataset. Should any of these parameters change, the MRP can adaptively change the information units to be extracted such that the benefit or value of the extracted information is maximized while minimizing the cost of extraction. This tradeoff is facilitated, at least in part, by an analysis of the spectral energy of the datasets expected to be processed by the MRP. The MRP can also determine its state after a processing iteration and use that state information in subsequent iterations to minimize the required computations in such subsequent iterations, so as to improve processing efficiency.
