  • Patent number: 11176197
Abstract: A media file system, apparatus, computer program product and method for storing a media file in a media file system. An exemplary method includes obtaining a predetermined number of frames and determining a set of portions for storing the media file, each portion having an identifier that is indicative of a multiple of the predetermined number of frames. Further, for each portion of the set of portions, associating with the portion the segment of the media file containing the frame indicated by the identifier of the portion, and associating each of the remaining segments of the media file with a portion of the set of portions. Moreover, storing the media file in the media file system as the set of determined portions, each portion comprising its associated segments of the media file.

  • Patent number: 11163779
Abstract: The described implementations are operable to determine potential objects of interest to a user based on a blend of the user's long-term behavior and short-term interests. Long term user behavior may be determined for the user over a period of time and represented as continuous data. Short-term interest may be determined based on objects with which the user has recently interacted and attributes of those objects may be represented together as continuous data corresponding to the short-term user interest. The continuous data of the short-term interest and long-term user behavior may be blended to produce a user embedding. The user embedding may then be compared with objects to determine objects that are of potential interest to the user.

  • Patent number: 11163770
Abstract: Enabling editable tables on a cloud-based data warehouse including receiving, by a query manager, a client-provided table; receiving, by the query manager from a query manager client, a request to create a referencing worksheet using, as data sources, the client-provided table and a database table on a cloud-based data warehouse; storing, by the query manager, the client-provided table in the schema storage location on the cloud-based data warehouse, wherein the schema storage location is a storage location on the cloud-based data warehouse to which the query manager has read and write access, and wherein the database table is external to the schema storage location; generating, by the query manager, a database query to create the referencing worksheet, wherein the database query targets the client-provided table in the schema storage location and the database table; and issuing, by the query manager, the database query to the cloud-based data warehouse.

  • Patent number: 11163818
Abstract: The overall architecture and details of a scalable video fingerprinting and identification system that is robust with respect to many classes of video distortions is described. In this system, a fingerprint for a piece of multimedia content is composed of a number of compact signatures, along with traversal hash signatures and associated metadata. Numerical descriptors are generated for features found in a multimedia clip, signatures are generated from these descriptors, and a reference signature database is constructed from these signatures. Query signatures are also generated for a query multimedia clip. These query signatures are searched against the reference database using a fast similarity search procedure, to produce a candidate list of matching signatures. This candidate list is further analyzed to find the most likely reference matches. Signature correlation is performed between the likely reference matches and the query clip to improve detection accuracy.

  • Patent number: 11163601
Abstract: A technique relates to dynamically determining a transaction coordinator. A transaction processing middleware (TPM) coordinator receives TPM weightages of TPM participants, where the TPM coordinator has a TPM coordinator weightage, and where the TPM coordinator and TPM participants are executing a transaction instance. The TPM coordinator individually compares the TPM coordinator weightage to each of the TPM weightages of the TPM participants. In response to not one of the TPM weightages of the TPM participants being greater than the TPM coordinator weightage, the TPM coordinator is kept unchanged. In response to a given TPM weightage of the TPM weightages of the TPM participants being greater than the TPM coordinator weightage, the TPM coordinator changes a TPM coordinator function to a given TPM participant having the given TPM weightage such that the given TPM participant is an interim TPM coordinator for the transaction instance.

  • Patent number: 11113338
Abstract: There is a need for solutions that increase efficiency and reliability of medical record processing systems. This need can be addressed, for example, by receiving a free-form primary provider input from a primary provider profile; detecting one or more information deficiencies in the primary provider input, wherein each information deficiency indicates a respective query; for each identified information deficiency of the one or more information deficiencies, identifying a supportive profile associated with the respective information deficiency, causing the supportive profile computing entity associated with the respective supportive provider profile to present an audiovisual interface that includes an indication of the respective query associated with the information deficiency, and receiving a supportive provider input from each supportive provider profile; and generating a collaborative record for the primary provider input based on the primary provider input and each received supportive provider input.
