  • Patent number: 11128533
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media which have instructions stored for execution on a processor, for automating the commissioning of a transport network element within a network. A system configured according to this disclosure can be an Automated Commissioning Tool which can initiate communications with a network element on the network. The Automated Commissioning Tool can then retrieve updated firmware corresponding to the network element and configure the network element to have the updated firmware. Finally, the Automated Commissioning Tool can determine, from a network plan, a first port on the network element which is to be connected via a cross-connect to a second port on the network element and establish the cross-connect on the network element. At this point the network element may be commissioned to operate as a transport network element within the network.

  • Patent number: 11108670
Abstract: A universal streaming server providing client-defined content at a permissible flow rate is disclosed. The server performs adaptive content filtering of panoramic multimedia signals based on clients' commands and regulates signal flow rate between the server and each of multiple client devices based on respective content specifications and performance measurements. The server sends a derivative of a panoramic signal capturing a panoramic view to a client device, receives content selection parameters, based on the derivative, from the client device, extracts a partial-coverage signal from the full-coverage signal according to the content selection parameters, and transmits the partial-coverage signal to the client device. The performance measurements include measurements pertinent to a client's receiver and measurement pertinent to a network path to the client's receiver. The server may employ multiple content filters and multiple encoders to serve a large number of clients concurrently.

  • Patent number: 11076001
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a user-controlled session manager to provide remote disabling of session tokens. An online service provider, such as a user-controlled session manager, may provide service to manage sessions between user's devices and other online service provider platforms, such as login and use sessions that exchange messages and data. The session manager may receive hashed values of session IDs from the service providers hosting the sessions, which may be used to securely identify the sessions without compromising the session IDs to malicious parties. The session manager may provide a functionality to allow the user to view session statuses, as well as change their statuses to indicate that the sessions can be terminated. The session manager may update the status so that when the service provider pings the session manager for the status, the session's status is updated to be inactive.

  • Patent number: 10972555
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for local and distributed function based dynamic traffic management for network services. A service host executes a network service and provides a service framework that includes one or more handlers. When a request is received for the service, one of the handlers assigns a classification to the request. The handler then provides the classification to a dynamic function based traffic controller. The controller determines whether the network service is to process the request based on the classification of the request, metrics associated with the network service, and a local traffic management policy. If the controller determines that the network service is not to process the request, the request is rejected. Otherwise, the request is passed to the network service for processing. Metrics can also be provided from the service host to a distributed performance monitoring system for use in managing network traffic at a fleet level.
