Abstract: Herein disclosed are secure digital transaction systems and methods wherein in response to a merchant device receiving a transaction initiation indication comprising a purchase request referencing a payer device, sending an encrypted transaction information message to the payer device from the merchant device using at least a VPN. The encrypted transaction information message may comprise a merchant ID, a security key and transaction information referencing the purchase request, permitting one-touch control of the secured transaction by the payer and eliminating payer account theft along the merchant transaction chain. The payer may subscribe to a service configured to permit the merchant to autonomously push a transaction information message to the payer device.

Abstract: A method for providing smart auto rental estimatics to a user includes training a machine learning model to predict repair information, receiving a report, analyzing the report to identify a coverage, determining a vendor, receiving a chosen vendor, determining a branch, receiving a chosen branch, analyzing the report and a volume data using the trained machine learning model to determine loss information, calculating out-of-pockets, and transmitting the out-of-pockets to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for processing an insurance claim using a target captured image. A motion-based event associated with a vehicle is detected. One or more images of the motion-based event are captured automatically using a vehicle sensor. The one or more images are stored in a data stored associated with the vehicle. A request for an insurance claim from a user is received. A user interface is presented that enables the user to select the one or more images stored in the data store for associating the images with the insurance claim. A selection is received of at least one target image of the one or more images. Processing of the insurance claim is facilitated along with the selected at least one target image for processing.

Abstract: In system and methods for pre-generating insurance claims, accident data associated with a vehicle accident involving a driver may be collected. The accident data may be analyzed, and a likely severity of the vehicle accident may be determined based upon the analysis of the accident data. An estimated insurance claim may be generated based upon the determined likely severity of the vehicle accident, and transmitted, via wireless communication, from one or more remote servers to a mobile device associated with the driver to facilitate presenting all, or a portion of, the estimated insurance claim to the driver or the insured. A wireless communication from the driver or insured indicating approval, rejection or modification of the estimated insurance claim may be received. The estimated insurance claim may be handled in accordance with the approval, rejection or modification.

The method may comprise converting a document into an image; detecting words on the document; searching the words for keywords; searching for an object on the document; determining an object field based on the keywords and the object; creating a tag with metadata about the object field; and associating the tag with the object field. The method may also comprise determining, by a processor, metadata about a document; creating, by the processor, a hash from the metadata; storing, by the processor, an association of the hash, the metadata and the document in a knowledge database; creating, by the processor, a new hash for a new document; comparing, by the processor, the hash with the new hash; and determining, by the processor, that the new document has similar characteristics as the document based on the comparing.

Abstract: Systems and methods for capturing digital image data associated with a property for an insurance quote are described. According to certain aspects, a mobile device may enable a user to capture digital image data and/or a video stream and other information of house features and characteristics that may be used to determine insurability and estimated replacement cost of the property. The mobile device may enable the user to capture the information at the property location, which may eliminate the need for a manual assessment or characterization of home features by a homeowner. A back-end server may receive the data, analyze the data to generate an insurance quote (and/or insurance application) for the property, and transmit the insurance quote (and/or application) to the mobile device for presentation to the user. The mobile device may enable the user to select terms, deductibles, limits, and/or coverages, and ultimately approve a homeowner's insurance policy.

Abstract: A method for collecting drone data at a crash site using an autonomous or semi-autonomous drone may include determining or receiving a crash GPS location associated with a crash location of a crash scene, and may further include generating a pre-generated flight path for an autonomous or semi-autonomous drone based upon the crash GPS location. The autonomous or semi-autonomous drone may be mounted, or held securely in place, on an emergency response vehicle traveling to the crash location. The method may further include autonomously or semi-autonomously flying the autonomous or semi-autonomous drone in accordance with the pre-generated flight path at the crash GPS location to generate or collect drone data associated with the crash scene. The drone data may be used for one or more insurance-related purposes, such as handling, adjusting, or generating auto or homeowners insurance claims; crash reconstruction; fault determination; damaged vehicle repair; and/or buildup identification.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for automatically obtaining tax documents. The system includes a taxpayer client device and a server configured to automatically identify tax return items associated with the taxpayer by analyzing a prior year tax return. The server is configured to generate a list of tax return items including the automatically identified tax return items. The server is configured to receive, from the taxpayer client device, authentication data for a third party database. The server is configured to access the third party database using the authentication data. The server is configured to receive a document from the third party database and automatically determine whether the document corresponds to a tax return item from the list of tax return items. The server is configured to automatically store the document when the document corresponds to one of the tax return items from the list of tax return items.

Abstract: A method of managing execution of a secure application is disclosed. The method comprises receiving an initial profile of an wireless communication device (WCD) by a secure application manager executing on a computer system, storing the initial profile by the secure application manager in a datastore; receiving a request comprising a current profile of the WCD by the secure application manager from an API of a secure application executing on the WCD to invoke an operation of a secure application; comparing the current profile of the WCD by the secure application manager to the initial profile of the WCD stored in the immutable record in the datastore; and in response to determining that the current profile of the WCD matches the initial profile of the WCD, passing the request to invoke an operation of the secure application by the secure application manager to the secure application for execution.

Abstract: A transaction tracking service (TTS). The TTS includes a transaction repository configured to store transaction records organized within a transaction groups. The TTS also includes a computer processor operatively connected to the transaction repository. The computer processor is configured to execute instructions to make a first determination that a first transaction record of the plurality of transaction records is unassigned, generate, based on the first determination, an unassigned transaction list (UTL) comprising a first set of transaction data associated with the first transaction record, and transmit the UTL to a client device operatively connected to the TTS.

A vehicle agent includes a bidding agent (a bidding unit) that places an automatic bid for power trading related to electric power of a user in accordance with an automatic bidding algorithm, and an information collection agent (an information collection unit) that acquires user information indicating a preference of the user. The bidding agent is configured to set a parameter of the automatic bidding algorithm using the user information.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automating the process of generating image metadata related to a vehicle and damage sustained by the vehicle during a collision event by using image analysis tools employing machine learning algorithms. The image with collision metadata renders the image capable of being analyzed using content-based searching.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for facilitating payments and transactions using social background checks. Such systems and methods may use social networks with both individual members communicating over a network to a social authentication computing system. The authentication of transactions associated financial institutions are determined through the use of relationship measures based on social media interactions. Transactions and services available to a user are determined based on a measure of social identity through the use of social media platforms. Available contact and interaction data from one or more social media platforms is leveraged to analyze a level of trust that a transaction is not a consequence of fraudulent activity. Transactions that have a low level of risk of being a consequence of fraudulent activity are benefited through faster transaction times and other improvements.

Abstract: An apparatus comprising an authorization server, merchant device and payer device, including a virtual private network (VPN) communicatively coupled with the merchant device processor and the payer device processor, wherein the VPN tunnels through a communication network, the payer device is configured to receive a first encrypted message from the merchant using at least one of: the VPN, an image-capturing interface, or a near-field communication interface, depending on the type of the transaction initiated by the payer. In response to receiving a purchase request from the payer using the payer device: the merchant device sends on the VPN to the payer device, the first encrypted message comprising the security key and transaction information referencing the purchase request. An implementation can conduct a secure transaction using a VPN connection between the payer device and the merchant device, improving electronic transaction security, preventing replay attacks and data capture by an adversary.

Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses provide a system for making toll payments using toll payment equipment. The system may include a mobile computing device, a toll gateway, and an insurance company computing device. The mobile computing device (e.g., a phone) may be configured to communicate with the toll gateway when a vehicle carrying the mobile computing device passes through the toll gateway. The mobile computing may send a signal to the insurance company computing device to cause the insurance company computing device to pay an appropriate toll or discounted toll (if applicable). The insurance company may maintain an account for a customer from which toll payments are made. In addition, the insurance company computing device may collect information about the vehicle as it passes through the toll gateway. The insurance company computing device may use this information to determine an insurance-related value, such as an insurance premium.
