Abstract: There is disclosed a feeding bottle comprising a bottle body (1) provided with micropore air inlet opening means in its bottom region (2), which enable the inflow of ambient air, yet impede the leakage of a liquid bottle content, and which is formed by micropores (5) provided directly in the bottle body (1) in its bottom (2), which is designed in one piece with the remaining bottle body (1).

Abstract: The cap (1) portion of the assembly comprises at least one guarantee strip (2, 3) connected to its body (5) by breakage bridges (4), the neck of the receptacle carrying ratchet teeth and the guarantee strip (2, 3) carrying internal teeth (6) adapted to cooperate with the ratchet teeth. The ratchet teeth (9) are elastically inclinable in the direction of screwing to allow the cap (1) to be screwed on while preventing its being unscrewed without breaking the bridges (4). At least one guarantee strip (2) has free ends (21) and is ejected transversely the first time the cap (1) is screwed on. The internal teeth (6) are so disposed that they cooperate with the ratchet teeth by only a single internal tooth (6) upon screwing and unscrewing. The cap (1) can be applied to tamper-proof receptacles in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, hygiene, food and cleaning product industries.

Abstract: A wood reinforced corrugated paperboard shipping container with interlocking pallet to direct positioning of the container on the pallet and to interlock the container with the pallet. The pallet includes longitudinal runners and cross members. At least one cross member overhangs the side of a lower runner. The overhang portion of the cross member and the side of the runner together define a recess which receives an attaching strip that is connected to a lowermost portion of the wall of the container. In placing the container on the pallet, a beveled upper surface on the overhang portion of the cross member bears against the bottom surface of the attaching strip. The attaching strip thereby moves downwardly and out to move around the outside end of the overhang portion of the cross member and the back into the recess, thereby matingly interlocking the container to the pallet.

Abstract: A beach accessory includes a carrying case having a plurality of storage compartments, a flexible mat stored within one of the storage compartments and extendable through a side of the carrying case, and a cushion pivotally attached to the carrying case. The cushion is connected to the carrying case by a pair of hinges to be rotatable between a first position wherein the cushion lies atop an upper surface of the carrying case, and a second position wherein the cushion rests, at least partially, on or adjacent to a ground surface. In the first position the cushion provides a cover for the storage compartments and a seat for a user of the beach accessory. In the second position a cushion provides a pillow for a person lying upon the mat after it has been extended from the carrying case. The carrying case is configured to provide a portable table when inverted, and includes an alarm clock, a radio receiver and a cassette tape player.

Abstract: The invention is directed to easy-open containers for products such as dough which have an easy-open seam extending helically between the end of the container body. A helically wound outer label of flexible sheet material in strip form has at least one longitudinal edge folded onto and bonded to the main body of the label to thereby provide a reinforced longitudinal edge portion of the outer label comprising at least two layers of the flexible sheet material. The reinforced longitudinal edge portion of the outer label is positioned in bridging relation to the easy-open seam of the bodywall to thereby maintain the easy-open seam closed and provide a peel strip for exposing the easy-open seam for opening of the container body.

Abstract: A box having a full size configuration and a reduced size configuration is provided. The full size box can hold, for example, an entire pizza. When the full volume is no longer required, the box can be reduced in size by eliminating certain portions thereof by tearing along preformed perforated score lines and folding along specially provided score lines. In accordance with the invention, no tools are required to form the smaller size box from the blank of the full size box. A microwave susceptor material can be provided on the base of the box to crispen leftovers that are heated in a microwave oven.

Abstract: A cuboid package suitable as a container for a liquid or a food comprises a body formed from a blank of packaging material having a plurality of longitudinal, transverse, and oblique groove lines thereon, said body being shaped into a base, four side walls, a flat top, and gable pocket adjoining one of the side walls and extending under the flat top so that the gable pocket lies within the cuboid outer contour of the body. The gable pocket comprises an inclined surface formed from a re-entrant fold of the blank and lateral pocket surfaces. A pouring spout or an adapter which receives a pouring spount is disposed on the inclined surface of the gable pocket.

Abstract: A carton includes a tubular body with a pair of opposed sidewalls and a pair of opposed endwalls. A closure extending from the sidewalls and endwalls includes end panels and side panels joined to the endwalls and sidewalls with hinge lines. The end panels have a discontinuous free edge which extends across a pair of free corners. A recessed edge is located between the free corners and defines a pair of U-shaped locking edge portions on either side of a generally arcuate intermediate portion. A pair of locking recesses are formed in each side panel, each recess including an arcuate edge portion spanning a generally truncated V-shaped edge portion. The recessed edge of the end panels engages the locking recesses of the side panels to lock the carton closure.

Abstract: A blank for forming a paperboard box has portions for forming side walls and end walls of a container and major and minor flaps which interlock to form a bottom to the container. The flaps are connected to the side and end walls along hinge lines. The major flaps include slits or slots which receive tabs on the minor flaps to maintain the bottom closed. The slit or slot of the major flap extends from the center thereof to the hinge line separating the major flap from the side wall. The hinge line between the major flat and the side wall includes pair of spaced parallel fold lines which diagonally extend from the hinge line and intersect the slit or slot. These spaced diagonal fold lines which are offset in alignment, cause the slit or slot to open when the major closure flat is folded over, thereby facilitating insertion of the tab into the slot or slit.

Abstract: A tube type carton formed from a unitary blank of paperboard and having at each end closure panels defined by a pair of opposed dust flaps and opposed major and minor closure flaps. The major flaps and two opposite side wall panels of the four side panels are trapezoidal. The remaining two opposite side wall panels are square but of different size. A pair of rectangular interior tucking panels joins one edge of the smaller square side wall panel to the shortest edge of one of the two opposite trapezoidal side wall panels, these interior panels being tucked into the interior of the carton. By virtue of the tucking, the cross-section of the tube is changed from rectangular to trapezoidal. The fully erected configuration of the carton is that of a truncated, right, four-sided, rectangular pyramid.
