Abstract: A live event polling system is disclosed that provides passive engagement tools and micro-polling services during live events so that live event hosts and developers of virtual spaces can engage their audiences and collect valuable input and data more effectively and promote audience participation for sentiment sharing and data collection in ways that overcome conventional barriers, such as time and user participation, which exist to gaining verbal input during such live events.

Abstract: An announcement display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is performed by a computing device, and includes displaying an intro screen including a friend account list of a user account, and fixedly displaying an announcement list at the top of the intro screen, wherein the announcement list comprises an announcement of at least one chat room to which the user account belongs.

Abstract: A software-defined traffic routing mesh network for routing network data traffic may include a first plurality of operations network nodes that route network data traffic between one or more client devices and an external network. The mesh network may further include a second plurality of maintenance network nodes that provides maintenance services for at least the first plurality of operations network nodes, and a third plurality of procurement network nodes that are used to procure each operations network node by being used to procure at least one of a hardware component or a software component for each operations network node from one or more third-party vendors. Each of the first plurality of operations network nodes, the second plurality of maintenance network nodes, and the third plurality of procurement network nodes in the mesh network are deployed in multiple tiers.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a data integration framework that provides an institutional or organizational user data enrichment capability locally. Specifically, instead of relying on the fraud detection platform to constantly updating and/or building new data connectors to intake data from updated or a new data provider, an institutional user, such as a financial institution, may receive a software development kit (SDK) from the fraud detection platform, using which the institutional user may build its own data connector deployed at the institutional user.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for proactively and adaptively rerouting data to a healthier path through network, as part of flow provisioning, based on environmental variables associated with devices in the network. The present technology includes identifying a routing path for forwarding traffic flows in a network, receiving diagnostic data of a routing device on the routing path. The diagnostic data include one or more environmental parameters associated with internal state and surroundings of the routing device. Further, the present technology includes comparing the diagnostic data of the routing device with a predetermined threshold and modifying, prior to a failure of the routing device, the routing path to bypass the routing device for at least a portion of the traffic flows based on the comparison between the diagnostic data of the routing device and the predetermined threshold.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a deep learning algorithm is introduced that operates directly on a raw sequence of user activity in an online network. This allows the system to scalably leverage more of the available signal hidden in the data and stop adversarial attacks more efficiently than other machine-learned models. More particularly, each specific request path is translated into a standardized token that indicates the type of the request (e.g., profile view, search, login, etc.). This eliminates the need for human curation of features. Then, the standardized request paths are standardized to integers based on the frequency of that request path across all users. This allows information about how common a given type of request is to be provided to the machine-learned model. The integer array is the activity sequence that is fed into the deep learning algorithm.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and software to manage processing queue allocation based on addressing attributes of an inner packet. In one implementation, a first gateway identifies processing queues at a second gateway and assigns a unique flow label to each of the processing queues. The first gateway further receives a packet from a computing node that is directed toward the second gateway. The first gateway hashes addressing information in the packet to select a flow label, encapsulates the packet with the flow label in the outer encapsulation header for the encapsulated packet, and forwards the packet toward the second gateway.

Each of the data cables communicatively couple each of the network devices to one of the plurality of downstream devices or networks so that each of the downstream devices or networks has a communications path to each of the network devices and a switchable communications path from each of the network devices. The network devices do not arbitrate active/passive status via direct communication. Based on data contained in a reply packet indicating that a request packet sent by the first network device was acknowledged, the first network device determines that the first network device is an active network device.

Registration requests to register applications for push notifications may be aggregated and sent as an aggregated registration request. The delivery priority of push notifications may be managed according to specified preferences. Upon receiving a push notification intended for an electronic device, a delivery priority of the push notification may be changed if an application identifier associated with the push notification is found on a list of application identifiers with designed delivery priorities.

Abstract: Techniques are presented herein for provisioning network devices based on device type. In one example, a packet core gateway of a cellular core network identifies a device type of a network device and obtains an indication to provision the network device. In response to obtaining the indication to provision the network device, the packet core gateway provisions the network device with one or more network resources based on the device type of the network device.

Abstract: A method includes selecting one or more green addresses, each being a different IP address from a block of IP addresses, associating the green addresses with the IP address of the server, and receiving a packet from a client directed to an IP address of the block of IP addresses. It is determined whether the destination address matches the one or more green addresses or is a yellow address. When determined that the destination address matches the one or more green addresses, the packet is sent to the IP address associated with the matching green address, bypassing any DPI. Otherwise, the packet is sent to a scrubber to analyze the packet using DPI and handle the packet or perform a redirection of the client. The redirection causes subsequent requests from the client to be sent to the IP address associated with the green address, bypassing any DPI.
