Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a system for indicating a program boundary in an adaptive bitrate media stream, where the system includes a memory and a processor that performs operations including generating multiple transcoded media output streams of different bit rates from an input linear media stream, fragmenting the multiple transcoded media output streams into chunks, detecting a program boundary in the input linear media stream, and supplying a program change indicator in a manifest file for implementing program change features in mobile communication devices. Abstract: A service processing method includes that a first network device determines a second network device on a forwarding path of a packet based on a service requirement; the first network device sends a first message to the second network device, to establish a first connection to the second network device; and the first network device sends a second message to the second network device using the first connection, where the second message requests the second network device to assist in determining information related to the forwarding path. when determining the second network device is needed to assist the first network device for information related to the forwarding path of the packet, the first network device actively establishes a connection to the second network device, and requests, using the established connection, the second network device to assist the first network device in determining the information related to the forwarding path.

Abstract: An enterprise platform may retrieve, from a collaboration data store, information about a selected enterprise team. The enterprise platform may then transmit, from a set of integration tools to a workflow tool of a remote cloud-based environment, a data payload including a notification request associated with a channel. The enterprise platform may also transmit, from a runtime environment to a business communication platform of the cloud-based environment, a request to post a notification to the channel and arrange for a member of the selected enterprise team to receive an adaptive information card, pushed by the business communication platform via the channel, containing information associated with at least one of the integration tools. The member who receives the adaptive information card may also, via selection of a graphical icon on the card, respond to the business communication platform via bi-directional communication.

Abstract: One disclosed example method includes a video conference provider establishing a main meeting of a video conference and multiple associated sub-meetings at the request of a host client device associated with a host of the meeting. The method further includes the video conference provider determining that a self-selection mode for the sub-meetings is enabled and transmitting notifications to participant client devices associated with the participants of the meeting. Each notification identifies a list of sub-meetings from which a participant can select a sub-meeting to join. The method further includes the video conference provider receiving and forwarding a request from a participant client device to connect to a selected sub-meeting, and receiving an automatic approval from the host client device. The video conference provider further connects the participant client device to the selected sub-meeting.

For instance, in one example, a method includes detecting a change in an access network that affects a first network circuit connecting a customer premises to a first provider edge router and provisioning a second network circuit in response to the detecting, wherein the provisioning comprises taking an action to preserve a wide area network internet protocol address of the customer premises on the first network circuit in the second network circuit.

Abstract: The present invention provides an information security incident diagnosis system for assisting in detecting whether a target network system has been hacked. First, a plurality of activities records of one or more computing devices in a target network system are collected. Then, a discrete space metric tree is generated according to the plurality of activities records, and a clustering operation is performed on the discrete space metric tree to generate one or more event clusters associated with one or more suspicious event categories. Each event cluster may form a guide tree corresponding to the event cluster through single linkage clustering analysis to indicate a merging order from high to low similarity. The merging order is used for recursively performing a graph generating operation to convert a plurality of activities records corresponding to the one or more event clusters into a hierarchical directed acyclic graph (HDAG).

Abstract: A technique for improving system administration involves implementing system administration agent programs on a plurality of devices in an administered network. A deployment agent deploys the system administration agent program or a portion thereof to suitable devices when they are detected. System monitoring agents monitor the administered network to generate data. A reporting engine sends agent reports including the generated data to a system administration server. The system administration server facilitates administration of the administered network in real time.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for service chaining in fabric networks such that hardware resources can be preserved without service nodes needing additional capabilities. The techniques may include storing a first configuration associated with a first VRF instance of a service forwarding node that is connected to a first service of a service chain sequence. The first configuration may indicate an identifier and a type associated with a second service of the service chain sequence where traffic is to be sent after the first service. Additionally, the techniques may also include storing a second configuration associated with a second VRF instance of the service forwarding node that is connected to the second service. The second configuration may indicate that the second service is a last service of the service chain sequence. When traffic is received at the service forwarding node, the service forwarding node can determine whether the traffic is pre-service traffic or post-service traffic.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a device of a data mesh divides a data query into a first subquery and a second subquery for different data sources in the data mesh, based on query routing data associated with the device. The device performs the first subquery in the data mesh, to obtain a first subquery response. The device also performs the second subquery in the data mesh, to obtain a second subquery response. The device provides a query response that aggregates the first subquery response and the second subquery response.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for augmented authentication using acoustic devices. The method includes receiving a transfer request including an NFT identifier from one of one or more acoustic devices. The NFT identifier corresponds to an acoustic device NFT associated with the given acoustic device and a device user. The method includes comparing the NFT identifier with one or more stored NFT identifiers to determine the given acoustic device associated with the NFT identifier. The method further includes confirming that the identity of the voice command user matches the device user associated with the acoustic device. The method still further includes causing an authentication of the transfer request upon confirming the acoustic device is associated with the voice command user.

Abstract: A method and a device are disclosed including one or more plug-in or Add-on Software Components (ASC) provided by a Social Business Platform (SBP) to deliver configuration information for the integration of various applications, services, and functionality from other platforms in an integrated environment. Each ASC may deliver a particular type of configuration information usable to configure and/or integrate services from various platforms, the services including data tiles and data streams, storage and document management services, single-function applications, core applications like communication and task management services, and other application-specific add-ons. In various embodiments, the configuration information may be distributed as packages of one or more files, which describe the configuration to be applied to the integrated services.

Abstract: An application programming interface (API) proxy intercepts API calls and responses for an application under test in a development environment, simulating (e.g., mocking) rate limiting and throttling behavior, which is otherwise challenging to test. The API proxy receives a API call and, based on a resource limiting parameter (e.g., rate-limiting or otherwise throttling), determines that the API call should be forwarded to the API endpoint. When the API proxy receives another API call from the application, destined for the same API endpoint, the API proxy determines to not forward the second API call, based on the resource limiting parameter (e.g., too soon after the first API call, or requests too much of a computational burden, such as exceeding a resource quota). The API proxy instead returns a throttling response, as would be expected from the API endpoint. The API proxy provides guidance messages for both outgoing calls and incoming responses.

Abstract: A computer system traces an original electronic design automation (EDA) implementation process for electronic hardware designs. The original EDA implementation process includes multiple subprocesses to convert a hardware model to a physically-realized electronic circuit. The system inputs a cryptographic key and design information that includes the hardware model, constraints, properties, implementation settings, and other directives for directing the conversion. The cryptographic key and design information are processed to generate a sequence of instructions to execute and provide traceability of each subprocess.

Abstract: A method for offloading multicast replication from multiple tiers of edge nodes implemented by multiple host machines to a physical switch is provided. Each of the multiple host machines implements a provider edge node and a tenant edge node. One host machine among the multiple host machines receives a packet having an overlay multicast group identifier. The host machine maps the overlay multicast group identifier to an underlay multicast group identifier. The host machine encapsulates the packet with an encapsulation header that includes the underlay multicast group identifier to create an encapsulated packet. The host machine forwards the encapsulated packet to a physical switch of the network segment. The physical switch forwards copies of the encapsulated packet to tenant edge nodes at one or more ports that are determined to be interested in the underlay multicast group identifier.

Abstract: In implementations of the present disclosure, there is provided a method for access point (AP) validation. The method comprises detecting a trigger event for validating a network including a plurality of APs, and selecting a target AP from the plurality of APs based on a neighbor table of an AP associated with the detected trigger event. The method further comprises determining a validation case corresponding to the detected trigger event from a knowledge base. The method further comprises sending the validation case to the target AP, and, receiving a result of performance of the validation case from the target AP in response to the validation case being performed. Implementations of the present disclosure can validate whether the network change takes effect in the network automatically, and can improve the validation efficiency of the network changes.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided to automatically adjust a device setting of a plurality of networked devices. The method includes performing autonomously at a device of the plurality of networked devices, receiving a request to update a device setting to a new value, comparing a characteristic of the plurality of networked devices to a corresponding characteristic of the device, determining one or more similar devices of the plurality of devices that satisfy a similarity criteria based on a result of the comparison, and accessing the one or more similar devices to change the device setting of the one or more similar devices to the new value.
