  • Patent number: 11143779
Abstract: A method and system for locating one or more bed boundaries. A method for locating one or more bed boundaries may include disposing a downhole tool into a wellbore, measuring wellbore wall resistivity with the downhole tool, extracting a vertical voltage measurement, deconvolving the vertical voltage measurement with an impulse response an apparent resistivity, and calculating a derivative of the apparent resistivity and finding one or more peaks of the derivative to determine the locations of the one or more bed boundaries. A well measurement system for locating one or more bed boundaries may include a downhole tool. The downhole tool may include a pad, an arm, a receiver disposed on the pad, and a transmitter disposed on the pad. The well measurement system may further comprise a conveyance and an information handling system.

  • Patent number: 11126693
Abstract: A method for reducing noise in a modulated electrical signal having a carrier frequency, includes acquiring in the time domain the modulated signal so as to obtain a plurality of pieces of the modulated signal; calculating, by transformation in the frequency domain, a spectrum of each piece of the modulated signal, the spectrum including an upper sideband extending over a range of frequencies greater than the carrier frequency, and a lower sideband extending over a range of frequencies lower than the carrier frequency, the spectrum including first values belonging to the upper sideband and second values belonging to the lower sideband; calculating a power spectrum for each piece of the modulated signal from the first values of the upper sideband and the second values of the lower sideband of the spectrum of each piece of the modulated signal; calculating an average of the power spectra.

  • Patent number: 11105949
Abstract: Disclosed is an electromagnetic prediction method for concealed orebodies. A factor associated with an observation direction and a factor associated with a frequency are retrieved from tensor impedance data after static shift recognition and correction. An electromagnetic recognition factor including anisotropic characteristics is constructed. A probability of a developed orebody in a particular underground depth range of a target area is then inferred by using the electromagnetic recognition factor alone or as a component of comprehensive prediction information. Due to the full use of a potential correlation between anisotropic characteristics of frequency domain electromagnetic fields and an apparent metal factor and two-dimensional (or three-dimensional) extended concealed orebodies, the success rate of predicting spatial locations and attributes of the concealed orebodies is improved.

  • Patent number: 11086034
Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and an apparatus for determining the permeability of the reservoir. The method comprises: acquiring logging data corresponding to the two zones at least; determining the permeability of a specified zone in the two zones at least based on logging data corresponding to the specified zone, wherein the specified zone represents any one of the two zones at least; setting weight values corresponding to the at least two zones respectively; and determining the permeability of the reservoir based on the weight values and the permeability respectively corresponding to the two zones at least. The technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure can improve the accuracy of the determined permeability of the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 11060962
Abstract: Provided is a flow analysis method capable of predicting a flow state of a composite resin material by taking into account a change in filler dispersion degree of the composite resin material. In a flow analysis method for a composite resin material having a filler and a resin, in a certain process of identifying a region in which the composite resin material flows and analyzing a flow, an exothermic reaction speed of the composite resin material in the region is computed using a filler dispersion degree in the composite resin material, a temperature and the filler dispersion degree of the composite resin material in the region is computed using the computed exothermic reaction speed, and an exothermic reaction speed in a process subsequent to a process is computed using the computed filler dispersion degree.

  • Patent number: 11003738
Abstract: The present invention belongs to the technical field of health monitoring for civil structures, and a dynamically non-Gaussian anomaly identification method is proposed for structural monitoring data. First, define past and current observation vectors for the monitoring data and pre-whiten them; second, establish a statistical correlation model for the whitened past and current observation vectors to obtain dynamically whitened data; then, divide the dynamically whitened data into two parts, i.e., the system-related and system-unrelated parts, which are further modelled by the independent component analysis; finally, define two statistics and determine their corresponding control limits, respectively, it can be decided that there is anomaly in the monitoring data when each of the statistics exceeds its corresponding control limit.
