  • Patent number: 10583683
Abstract: A system and method for producing a multi-layered materials sheet that can be separated into a number of payment cards having an embedded metal layer that provides durability and aesthetics at a reduced cost and increased efficiency. During product of the materials sheet, multiple layers are collated and laminated to produce a large materials sheet. The lamination step involves heating and cooling the materials at specific temperatures and pressures for specific time periods. At a registration step, the sheet is automatically milled with alignment holes. During a singulation step, the alignment holes are used to position the sheet on a vacuum table, and vacuum holds the sheet in place while a milling device cuts cards from the sheet.

  • Patent number: 9633293
Abstract: To encode information into a two-dimensional (2D) symbol, a palette is selected to represent data in the 2D symbol, the palette including a set of shape fillers. A Base number system is selected according to the palette. A rule is selected, where the rule determines a manner of reading an encoded form of the data from the 2D symbol. The rule and the data are encoded as a set of shapes, where the shapes in the set of shapes are configured using the palette and arranged into a grid pattern, with or without visible grid lines, to form the 2D symbol. The 2D symbol is output in a size that matches an area.

  • Patent number: 8960536
Abstract: Methods and systems in the present invention facilitate vehicle exit from a parking lot, or similar venue, for which payment is required prior to being permitted egress. The Exit Express Engine permits pre-payment prior to a vehicle's arrival at a point of exit, so as to facilitate rapid confirmation of payment/authorization when exiting a controlled-exit facility. An Exit Express Engine, installed on a mobile device, is launched and used to scan a barcode printed on a parking garage ticket, which is provided to the user at the time of entry. The information scanned is then transmitted to an associated parking system, where it is received by an Exit Express Plug-in application. The user indicates payment authorization via the mobile device to an associated payment processing facility, storing payment verification. When the user arrives at the controlled exit, he/she presents the ticket, and the exit gate is activated to exit within a pre-established time.

  • Patent number: 7445153
Abstract: A method and a mobile terminal where reproduction of a security barcode in a mobile terminal including a special function is prevented. When a security function is executed, a security barcode corresponding to security barcode generation information is generated and the special function is controlled. When the security function is released, the generated security barcode is removed and the control of the special function is released. When the special function is executed, execution information of the special function is stored. When the security function is executed again, the execution information of the special function is added to the security barcode generation information so as to generate new security barcode generation information. A security barcode corresponding to the new security barcode generation information is generated, and the generated security barcode is displayed.
