Abstract: A toilet odor control device according to the present invention has an air filtration unit and a mounting and air intake unit that allows the two units to be separated from and reattached to one another by sliding the air filtration unit relative to the mounting and air intake unit. This feature allows convenient access to the air filtration unit to change filter cartridges and batteries in the air filtration unit without removing the entire device from a toilet. The mounting and air intake unit is provided with adjustable members for receiving fasteners for fastening the mounting and air intake unit to a toilet at a location intermediate of a toilet seat and the rim of a bowl of a toilet.

Abstract: A flush toilet apparatus that can reduce the total amount of wash water supplied to a bowl portion, even though a jet-pump water supply mechanism is mounted on a wash-down toilet body. A jet pump unit induces a jet pump action for making a flow rate of water flowing inside of a throat pipe higher than a flow rate of water injected from a nozzle to supply water at the increased flow rate to water ejection portions, and the flush toilet apparatus switches a channel state of the jet pump unit to sequentially execute a water flow forming step, in which water at a first flow rate is supplied to the water ejection portions, and a water flow maintaining step, following the water flow forming step and in which water at a second flow rate lower than the first flow rate is supplied to the water ejection portions.

Abstract: A water control system including a showerhead and a tub faucet. The faucet has a temperature controlled valve configured in a first mode to automatically restrict fluid flow through the faucet and direct fluid to the showerhead once the fluid flowing through the faucet reaches a predetermined temperature, referred to as a hot mode. The faucet also has a manual override member configured to manually restrict fluid flow through the faucet and to the showerhead to allow cold showers, referred to as a cold mode. The valve includes a piston, and a sleeve configured to establish the hot mode and the cold mode.

Abstract: A concealed toilet in a vehicle includes a flexible container, a foundation member, a primary toilet seat member, lock hook assemblies, and a toilet seat cover. The flexible container with a waste containment bag is positioned in a cavity in a vehicle seat. The foundation member, attached to the flexible container, secures the flexible container to a seat brace of the vehicle seat. The foundation member includes bag holders and an elevated bag diverter for holding and diverting an upper portion of the waste containment bag respectively. The primary toilet seat member includes a tapered guide stud engageable with the elevated bag diverter. The lock hook assemblies lock with lock posts of the primary toilet seat member for securing the primary toilet seat member to the foundation member. The toilet seat cover with a concealment layer is positioned on the primary toilet seat member for concealing the waste containment bag.

Abstract: A top-mount faucet assembly includes a coupling mounted on a counter that selectively couples a faucet thereto. The counter coupling has a disc-shaped collar with two keepers and a land for selectively locking the faucet. The land has a v-shaped part and a n-shaped part. The faucet has a main valve body with a locking assembly. To couple the faucet to the counter coupling, the main valve body is placed over the coupling and turned clockwise so that slots align with the keepers to fix the faucet axially to the coupling. As the faucet rotates clockwise, the locking assembly rides along the v-shaped part until captured by the n-shaped part to lock the faucet in place rotationally. To uncouple the faucet from the coupling, a button is pushed so that the locking assembly moves radially inward out from the n-shaped part, then the faucet is turned counter-clockwise.

Abstract: A cover for a hot tub comprises at least one deck that includes a rigid frame surrounded by a foam material covered on a top side and at side edges thereof with a layer of plywood coated with an elastomeric paint. A bottom side of each deck is covered with a first water impervious web. A skirt made from a second water impervious web is fixed proximate to at least one of the side edges of each deck and extends down to cover at least a portion of a peripheral wall of the hot tub when the cover is fixed over the hot tub. In one embodiment, a plurality of foam beams, each mutually separated and including a plurality of notches, convey heat from the hot tub through the deck to melt snow or ice formed on the top side of each deck.

The post has a rod portion extendable through a mounting hole of the toilet fixture and a post engagement portion. The attachment body has a pivot portion, a movable closure, and a receiving opening. The post engagement portion is defined by radially oriented features, such as disc or ring-shaped portions of different diameters. A portion of the periphery of the receiving opening has features with contours inversely shaped with respect to the features of the post engagement portion so that the attachment body engagement portion is laterally mateable with the post engagement portion. The closure is movable between a closed position preventing disengagement of the attachment body and the post and an open position enabling disengagement of the attachment body from the post.

Abstract: An overflow for a tub or basin includes a bracket and a movable cover. A water passageway is disposed through the bracket. The cover is attached to the bracket and translatably movable by a user. A drain aperture is disposed through the cover. An edge is disposed along a perimeter of the cover with a channel disposed on an inside edge surface. The bracket includes a flexure or a pin biased by a spring. When the cover is attached to the bracket the flexure or pin is partially disposed within the channel creating a force biasing the cover to remain attached to the bracket. Alternatively, a magnet may be used to bias the cover to the bracket. When the cover is in an open position, water can flow through both the bracket and the cover. When the cover is in a closed position, it blocks the flow of water.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for attaching a tap to a mounting surface (13) has a clamping assembly inserted through an aperture (11) in the mounting surface (13) and tightened from above the mounting surface (13). The clamping assembly has a pair of clamping arms (25, 27) that are mounted for pivotal movement from a collapsed position for passage through the aperture (11) to an operative position below the mounting surface (11). The clamping arms (25, 27) are operable on tightening the clamping assembly to engage in a first stage an underside of the mounting surface (13) remote from the fluid delivery device and to engage in a second stage a sidewall of the aperture (11) when continuing tightening. Thus a step change in an operating force is required that provides feedback to an installer that a required clamping force has been achieved.

Abstract: A waterless toilet includes a urine/feces separation device, a transport conveyor, and a drier drum inside a casing. The urine/feces separation device includes rotary plates and fixed plates. The rotary plates are substantially triangular. Each fixed plate is provided between a pair of adjacent rotary plates. The transport conveyor has an endless belt wound around a driver roller and a driven roller. The drier drum includes drum main bodies and a drum heater. The drum main bodies are constructed like a metal net and supported in such a manner as to be freely rotatable. A first receptacle is provided below the urine/feces separation device to collect urine. The collected urine is heated and vaporized by a heater. Dried, solid waste is collected in a second receptacle below the drier drum and further dried by the heater.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a bathing vessel includes forming a base by contacting an incompletely cured polyurethane material with a wood-containing composite panel. The polyurethane material is then cured while in contact with the wood-containing composite panel to chemically bond the polyurethane material with the panel.
