    Abstract: Cooling apparatuses and methods of fabrication are provided which facilitate immersion-cooling of an electronic component(s). The cooling apparatus includes a drawer-level enclosure sized to reside within an electronics rack. The drawer-level enclosure includes a compartment which accommodates one or more electronic components to be cooled. A dielectric fluid is disposed within the compartment. The dielectric fluid includes a liquid dielectric which at least partially immerses the electronic component(s) within the compartment(s). A hinged, liquid-cooled heat sink is also disposed within the compartment of the enclosure. The heat sink operatively facilitates cooling the one or more electronic components via the dielectric fluid within the compartment, and is rotatable between an operational position overlying the electronic component(s), and a service position which allows access to the electronic component(s).

    Abstract: A manufacture method of a lining plate structure for use with a tube mill for the cement industry. The manufacture method has the following three technical solutions: 1) metal lining plate, 2) ceramic lining plate, and 3) combined lining plate. The manufacture method includes: lining the concave-convex space, formed in the combination of metal lining plate and tube body, with corundum ceramic lining plate; then installing the combined lining plate on the steel plate of the tube body through inlaying, sticking and local welding. Under the same reference conditions of the present method, the weight of lining plate is reduced 50%, saving the steel material consumption by more than 50%; and the service life of the lining plate for use with the tube mill of cement industry is doubled, up to 15000-20000 hours.

    Abstract: Embodiments of a methods for producing gas turbine engine rotors and other powdered metal articles having shaped internal cavities are provided. In one embodiment, the method includes consolidating a powdered metal body utilizing a hot isostatic pressing process to produce a rotor preform in which elongated sacrificial tubes are embedded. Acid or another solvent is directed into solvent inlet channels provided in the elongated sacrificial tubes to chemically dissolving the elongated sacrificial tubes and create shaped cavities within the rotor preform. The rotor preform is subject to further processing, such as machining, prior to or after chemical dissolution of the elongated sacrificial tubes to produce the completed gas turbine engine rotor.

A damaged portion of the turbine blade is inspected to identify a standard cut portion and an angled cut portion. The standard cut portion is damaged above a standard cut line and the angled cut portion is damaged below the standard cut line. The damaged portion of the turbine blade is removed. The standard cut portion is removed using a first removal process and the angled cut portion is removed using a second removal process. The angled cut portion is built up with a first weld repair process. The angled cut portion is built up to the standard cut portion. The standard cut portion and the angled cut portion are built up with a second weld repair process.
