Abstract: The present disclosure provides a feed injector for a gasification system. The feed injector may include an inner tube defining an inner feed passage therein, an intermediate tube defining an intermediate feed passage therein, and an outer tube defining an outer feed passage therein. The outer tube may include an outer tube pipe portion and an outer tube tip portion attached to one another, and the outer tube tip portion may be formed of a ceramic matrix composite, a sintered Silicon Carbide, or a sintered Silicon Nitride. The present disclosure also provides a related method of operating a feed injector of a gasification system as well as a related integrated gasification combined cycle power plant.

Abstract: A carton for holding a plurality of articles. The carton can comprise a plurality of panels comprising at least a top panel and a side panel. A plurality of end flaps can be respectively foldably connected to respective panels of the plurality of panels, can be at least partially overlapped to at least partially form a closed end of the carton, and can comprise at least a side end flap foldably connected to the side panel along a first fold line. A handle can be formed in the closed end of the carton for grasping and carrying the carton. The handle can extend in at least the side end flap. A reinforcing flap can be foldably connected to the side end flap along a second fold line, and the reinforcing flap can at least partially overlap the side end flap for reinforcing the handle.

Abstract: A storage bag shifts between a flat configuration with first and second sidewalls positioned adjacent to each other, and a stand-up configuration with the sidewalls separated. In the stand-up configuration, the bag has a substantially flat base (i) formed by the bottom portion of the first and second sidewalls, and (ii) outlined by at least one of the shift regions of the sidewalls. An angle ? is defined between each of (i) the first shift region of the first sidewall and an adjacent edge of the bag and (ii) the first shift region of the second sidewall and an adjacent edge of the bag, and (b) a differing angle ? is defined between each of (i) the second shift region of the first sidewall and a bottom edge of the bag and (ii) the second shift region of the second sidewall and the bottom edge of the bag.

Abstract: A two-way reusable shipping container has a plurality of flexible walls, the walls surrounding an internal cavity when the shipping container is in an open state. A pouch is located on a first wall of the plurality of flexible walls, and is configured to form a pocket into which the walls of the shipping container are collapsed when the shipping container is in a compact state. A closure device is configured to retain the shipping container in the pocket in the compact state. In some embodiments, the shipping container includes inflatable pillows, each pillow being secured to one of the walls. In some embodiments, the pouch inverts when the shipping container is converted between the open and compact states, such that interior surfaces of the pocket when the shipping container is in the open state become exterior surfaces of the pocket when the shipping container is in the compact state.

Abstract: A storage bag includes a first sidewall having a top edge and a bottom edge, and a plurality of shift regions about which the bag is capable of shifting. At least one of the shift regions includes one of a score line, an indentation, and a crimp formed into the first sidewall, and extends a distance along the first sidewall starting from near the bottom edge of the first sidewall. A second sidewall is connected to the first sidewall so as to form an interior of the bag with an opening to the interior and having a top edge and a bottom edge. At least one of the shift regions of the first and second sidewalls extends across and intersects with another of the shift regions of the first and second sidewalls, to facilitate shifting of the bag. The bag shifts between a flat configuration, and a stand-up configuration.

Abstract: A recloseable container comprising a substantially rectilinear, paperboard-based carton and a plastic recloseable device is provided. The carton defines a container interior and has a face panel defining an opening. The opening has a perimeter sized to receive the recloseable device. The recloseable device may be a plastic unitary structure similar to a clamshell type blister pack and may comprise a frame attached to the carton and a door hingedly attached to the frame.

Abstract: A carton for packaging one or more articles includes a plurality of walls including a top wall, a base wall, a first side wall and a second side wall forming a tubular structure. One of the plurality of walls includes a handle structure defined in it. The handle structure includes a grip member struck from one of the plurality of walls and a handle strap. The grip member is mounted on the handle strap. A first aperture is struck from the one of the plurality of walls. The aperture is disposed adjacent to a first end of the grip member so as to define a first end edge of the grip member. The first aperture defines a portion of an opening in the one of the plurality of walls. In the opening, a portion of the handle strap may be received.

Abstract: A storage bag includes first and second sidewalls each having a top edge, a top portion, and a bottom portion. The bottom portions of the sidewalls include at least one shift region about which the bag is capable of shifting. The shift region includes a score line, an indentation, or a crimp formed into the first sidewall. The top portions of the sidewalls include a cuff line about which the bag is capable of shifting. The bag shifts (a) between (i) a flat configuration with the sidewalls positioned adjacent to each other, and (ii) a stand-up configuration with the sidewalls separated from each other. In the stand-up configuration, the bag has a substantially flat base. The bag also can be shifted to a cuffed position with the bag being folded over the cuff line of each of the sidewalls such that the cuff region forms an opening to the bag.

Abstract: A corrugated plastic box and a method for manufacturing a corrugated plastic box from a blank are provided. The method includes the steps of forming rounded edge seals on the perimeter edges of the blank, pre-sealing portions of the blank to form a plurality of areas in which major and minor flap slots and a glue tab are desired, ultrasonically scoring the blank to form a plurality of flap score lines, and cutting the blank through the plurality of pre-sealed flap slots and glue tab, leaving a sealed edge.

Abstract: A carton for holding a plurality of articles. The carton includes at least one top panel, a first side panel, a second side panel, and a bottom panel. A plurality of end flaps is foldably connected to a respective panel to close an end of the carton. The carton includes reinforcement features at the end of the carton to increase the strength of the carton.

Abstract: A modular interconnecting knockdown container system includes a plurality of individual containers selectively coupled together to form a free standing unit. Each container is a knockdown container formed from a single substrate assembled into the container having a plurality of side members and extending between opposed ends of the container. Each container includes a plurality of coupling tabs adjacent each container end on at least two of the sides, wherein each tab may selectively extend beyond the adjacent container end. Each container includes a plurality of coupling tab receiving slots adjacent each container end on at least two sides at each container end and aligned with the coupling tabs adjacent the container end, wherein each tab receiving slot may selectively receive a tab of an adjacent container. Adjacent containers have the coupling tabs adjacent one end received within the tab receiving slots of an adjacent end of an adjacent container.

The first end portion may be located in the first notch such that the first end panel and the first positioning panel frictionally engage the containment panel first end portion to frictionally hold the first containment panel in position. A pair of lines of weakness extends upwardly relative to the path of weakness and terminates at or adjacent the top wall. A grip flap defined in the side wall between the pair of lines of weakness, the grip flap being graspable by the user when separating the carton into the at least two portions.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed that facilitates the attachment of a bag to one or more rings. The apparatus can be disguised as a surface of the bag, and can pivot into a securing position. In embodiments, the apparatus can comprise one or more openings for accepting one or more rings, and one or more hook-and-loop fasteners for facilitating the temporary attachment of the apparatus to a bag.
