Abstract: Structural panel assemblies include first and second composite panels positioned in edgewise alignment, with at least one tab extending from a mating edge of the first panel and including an exterior surface in facing registration with a corresponding portion of an interior surface of the second composite panel. The corresponding portion includes a recessed area to interfit with the tab or is otherwise configured to receive the tab. The exterior surface of the tab is spaced from the corresponding portion, to receive a bonding material therebetween for bonding the composite panels.

Abstract: A headrest includes a first part referred to as the lower part, equipped with a connecting unit enabling an adjustable connection of the headrest to the seat back of a pilot seat, and a second part referred to as the upper part, located opposite the lower part, as well as a front face intended to serve as a support surface for the head of a user. A receptacle, connected to the mask, stores an oxygen mask and/or a supply line. The upper part of the headrest forms a hinged cover on the lower part of the headrest and it closes the receptacle. A seat, a cockpit, and an aircraft include such headrest.

Abstract: A pivot bin assembly configured to receive luggage and be positioned in the interior of an aircraft. The pivot bin assembly includes an upper housing that includes a strongback and first and second side panels, a bucket that cooperates with the upper housing to define a bin interior, a first pivot mechanism operatively associated with the first side panel and the bucket, and a second pivot mechanism operatively associated with the second side panel and the bucket. The first and second pivot mechanisms are axially aligned along a pivot axis such that the bucket pivots about the pivot axis with respect to the upper housing between an open position and a closed position.

Abstract: A dual purpose deployment line for a parachute system is disclosed. The system includes a main line and a plurality of cascading release loops disposed proximate a first end of the main line. The plurality of cascading release loops are configured to be releasably secured to an aircraft anchor ring. The deployment line includes a release pin secured to a first end of the release line, where the release pin is in communication with the plurality of cascading release loops and adapted to pull free and release the cascading release loops from the anchor ring when a parachute is deployed. An optional locking pin is adapted to selectively secure the plurality of cascading release loops in place when desired to retain the deployment line to the anchor ring when the parachute is deployed and the release pin is pulled free.
