Abstract: Methods for repairing composite components are provided. For instance, one exemplary method includes machining an interlocking feature into an existing component. A replacement material or core having an interlocking feature complementary to the interlocking feature of the existing component is then joined with the component. The interlocking features interlock to form a joint. The joint is then overlaid with one or more plies to rebuild the outer surface of the component and seal the joint. A bonding process can be used to chemically bond the newly joined parts together. Repaired composite components are also provided.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for the removal of a pallet jack's load wheel pins. Where said invention is comprised of a hydraulic jack secured in a horizontal position within a frame assembly. A tooling adapter is fitted on the end of the piston rod so that the piston rod may push against the pallet jack's load wheel pin when the piston rod is extended. The frame assembly is slid underneath the forks of the pallet jack and the hydraulic jack's piston rod is aligned with the pallet jack load wheel pins that are to be removed. When the hydraulic jack is activated, the piston rod pushes against the pallet jack's load wheel pins pushing them out from the load wheel allowing the load wheel to be removed from the pallet jack's fork. Large extension springs are mounted on the underside of the frame assembly and are attached to piston rod to return the piston rod to the hydraulic jack once the load wheel pins are removed.

Abstract: Methods of producing a graphic mesh for a solar module are described in which mesh parameters such as warp fiber thickness, weft fiber thickness, and open area size are determined to meet a target energetic efficiency and a chromatic effectiveness. In some embodiments, chromatic effectiveness is based on mesh count, where the mesh count is set according to a distance at which the mesh will be viewed when assembled into the solar module. The mesh has a plurality of warp fibers having the warp fiber thickness and a plurality of weft fibers having the weft fiber thickness, that are interlaced to form a plurality of mesh unit cells. A graphic appearance is printed into the mesh using a coloring substance, where the coloring substance is absorbed by the fiber material to form the graphic mesh.
Abstract: The invention provides a manufacturing method for thin-wall bearing and a method for machining a thin-wall inner ring/outer ring as well as a precision flexible bearing. The method for machining the thin-wall inner ring/outer ring comprises the following steps of: S0, providing a thin-wall ring with machining allowance left; S1: reinforcing along the radial direction and/or axial direction of the thin-wall ring; S2: carrying out quenching-tempering heat treatment on the reinforcing ring obtained by reinforcement in the S1; S3: carrying out corresponding grinding, hard cutting and super finishing on the reinforcing ring after receiving heat treatment, which includes removal of the machining allowance and a reinforcing part obtained by reinforcement in the S1, thereby obtaining finished thin-wall ring product. The thin-wall ring reinforced machining method substantially reduces and even avoids deformation of the thin-wall ring in all manufacturing links, thereby obtaining very high machining precision.
