Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for providing a global service for securely storing deposit instructions is described. The service provides payment processing services with a central location to translate payee information into a revocable d-token that represents the payee deposit instructions. A second service allows qualified banking institutions to convert the d-token into deposit instructions to effectuate a funds transfer.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for securely providing an encryption key from a remote resource to a secure element. In one example, the method may include receiving transaction data for settling a payment transaction between a merchant and a cardholder of the computing device, reading a merchant encryption key stored in a secure element of the computing device and received from a remote computing service, dynamically generating, via the secure element, a cryptogram that remotely authenticates the transaction data using the merchant encryption key, and transmitting the dynamically generated cryptogram to a computing system associated with the merchant.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for receiving an encrypted payment payload from a digital wallet host, transmitting a low value token to a merchant, receiving an authorization request, requesting authorization for the transaction from an issuer financial institution using financial data from the encrypted payment payload, receiving an authorization decision from the issuer financial institution, and transmitting an authorization response to the merchant.

Abstract: A distributed device rating system includes a device that is configured to send, to a central authority system, a query to identify at least one other device with which to perform a transaction, where the query specifies one or more criteria associated with the transaction, receive, from the central authority system, an identification of one or more candidate devices with which to perform the transaction, receive rating information associated with the one or more candidate devices, where the rating information identifies at least one characteristic of services previously performed by the one or more candidate devices, determine whether the rating information associated with at least one candidate device of the one or more candidate devices satisfies a rating threshold, and, responsive to determining that the rating information satisfies the rating threshold, initiate, with the at least one candidate device, performance of the transaction.

Abstract: Techniques described herein include analyzing point-of-sale transactions and initiating interactive mobile sessions responsive to the transactions. Platform servers receive transaction data indicative of a transaction performed via a point-of-sale system, determine additional data associated with server processes, and initiate interactive session with the mobile device to receive the additional data for performing the server processes. Based on the interactive sessions and additional data, the platform servers may enhance fraud detection capabilities and generates compliance records for tax and expense reporting based on the transactions, while supporting credentialing and authentication capabilities.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for adjusting decision reliability scores (e.g., weights) in weighted consensus algorithms for blockchains include accessing broadcast events in a blockchain, where the broadcast events correspond to a historic period of time. A broadcast decision provided by a participant in the blockchain for each of the broadcast events may be identified. A consensus decision for each of the broadcast events may be identified where the consensus decision indicates whether there is a consensus among participants in the blockchain that a corresponding broadcast event should be added as a new node to the blockchain. A success rate may be calculated for the participant based the identified broadcast decision provided by the participant for each of the broadcast events and the identified consensus decision for each of the broadcast events. Based on the success rate, the decision reliability score for the participant may be increased, decreased, or maintained.

Abstract: A contactless delivery system is provided. The contactless delivery system includes a contactless card storing a cryptogram containing a unique identifier associated with a user account. After entry into a communication field, the contactless card is configured to transmit the cryptogram to a server. Upon receipt of the cryptogram, the server is configured to validate and decrypt the cryptogram, and extract the unique identifier. The server can query a database for an identity of the user account using the unique identifier, generate a digital signature based on the identity of the user account, and transmit a verification notification including the identity of the user account and the digital signature.

Abstract: The disclosure herein describes management of transaction blocking schemes via a user interface. A transaction blocking scheme is receiving via the user interface from a user, including transaction blocking rules. The transaction blocking rules are applied to transaction data associated with the user. Transaction blocking scheme performance data is generated based on the application of the transaction blocking rules to the transaction data, including a quantity of transactions of the transaction data that are blocked by the transaction blocking rules. A visualization of the transaction blocking scheme performance data is displayed via the user interface and the user is prompted to provide a response based on the displayed visualization. Based on the response to the prompt, the transaction blocking scheme is activated for application to incoming transactions, whereby the transaction blocking rules are applied to incoming transactions to determine whether to block the incoming transactions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating authentication for payment transactions using pattern-based time bound passwords. More specifically, techniques disclosed herein enable authentication of payment transactions performed by a user at a merchant terminal based on a pre-registered pattern provided by the user within a pre-defined time period limit. The pre-registered pattern drawn in the pre-defined time period is registered as a password for authenticating any payment transaction performed by the user using a payment card which is associated with an account of the user in an issuing bank. If the user provides the pre-registered pattern within the pre-defined time period limit, the payment transaction is authenticated. In another embodiment, such pattern-based time bound password is used as a second level authentication in which first level authentication is performed by a personal identification number.

Abstract: Embodiments implement multifactor authentication without a user footprint. An application programming interface call from a client application can be received that includes a messaging identifier. A transaction identifier can be transmitted to the client application and stored. Using a shared secret, a temporary password can be generated, where the shared secret can be associated with the transaction identifier and can be stored. The temporary password can be transmitted to the messaging identifier. A second application programming interface call can be received that includes a reference transaction identifier and input, where a user provides the input to the client application. The user can be authenticated when the reference transaction identifier matches a transaction identifier stored and the input matches an expected password that is based on a stored shared secret associated with the matching stored transaction identifier.

Abstract: Systems and related methods facilitating interactions between a merchant device, a central system and a consumer device are discussed herein. Wallet identifying data may be used to secure messages between the consumer device and the merchant device over a wireless link. For example, the merchant device may include circuitry configured to wirelessly receive the wallet identifying data from a consumer device and to transmit the wallet identifying data to the central system. In response, consumer identifying data associated with the wallet identifying data may be received by the merchant device from the central system. In some embodiments, employee identifying data that identifies an employee may be associated with the consumer identifying data to facilitate consumer assistance and employee payment.

Abstract: A distributed system that includes a merchant application, a buyer application and a seller or drummer application. The applications reside and run on personal computing devices and operate together to allow a merchant to create an offer, drummers to select, present and share the offer with buyers, and buyers to receive and save the offers in anticipation of a conversion. Upon a conversion, revenue derived from the transaction is provided to the merchant but, some of revenue is shared with one or more drummers involved in pushing the offer.

Abstract: A system and methods for allocating impressions using an auction comprises a delivery engine, a statistics collector, a forecasting module, and optimization engine and a direct demand source. The delivery engine receives indirect demand, direct demand and optimization information that it uses to allocate impressions and serve ads. The statistics collector is coupled to collect information from the delivery engine and input from the forecasting module. The forecasting module provides information to the optimization to smooth the rate at which direct demand is allocated. The optimization engine receives information from the statistics collector, the forecasting module and the direct demand source to produce optimization information that is used to generate bids for the direct demand.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving an indicator that a consumer stored account details associated with an account with a resource provider computer of a resource provider in an add-account event. The transaction details associated with the add-account event are displayed to the consumer at a display interface of a computer device if the consumer is enrolled in an account-on-file tracking system configured to track add-account events for the account. The method may further include providing the consumer with one or more transaction control selections at the display interface that allow the consumer to place transaction controls on the account stored with the resource provider computer.

Abstract: A technique for predictive modeling to generate ratings forecasts in a media network is described. An episode-level programming schedule is imported into a viewership forecasting application to generate episode-level ratings predictions. Episode-level ratings predictions for media content in the episode-level programming schedule are generated by implementing multiple different predictive algorithms in parallel for each instance of specific media content in the programming schedule. In addition, for each such predicted viewership value, an accuracy value is generated that indicates the likely accuracy of that predicted viewership value. The episode-level ratings predictions can be uploaded by a business unit of the media network, and merged with a programming schedule currently employed by the business unit.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for protecting consumer privacy in an online advertising environment. A request may be received from a browser for a webpage along with a unique browser identifier. The browser may be provided a first portion of the webpage that is locally available. The unique browser identifier may be provided to at least one advertising entity, wherein the advertising entity determines an advertisement based, at least in part, on the unique browser identifier. The advertisement may be received from the advertising entity, and provided to the browser as a second portion of the webpage.

Abstract: An incentive program manager is provided for administering an incentive program encouraging public transport usage. The incentive program manager includes a processor, a memory including computer program code, and an input port. The input port is configured to receive an indication of usage of a public transport facility by a participant registered with the incentive program and an indication of usage of a private transport facility registered with the incentive program and owned by the participant. The memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the processor, cause the incentive program manager to: determine a reward to the participant for the usage of the public transport facility and a penalty for the usage of the private transport facility; provide data indicative of the determined reward and the determined penalty; and update a balance in a member account with the determined reward and the determined penalty.
