Abstract: A packing material including a plurality of discrete cushioning elements and methods for making the same. The discrete cushioning elements may be cellulosic cushioning elements. A flexible linkage may connect the plurality of discrete cushioning elements in the packing material. The packing material may also include a bottom cellulosic sheet connected to a top cellulosic sheet with the plurality of cellulosic cushioning elements positioned between the top cellulosic sheet and the bottom cellulosic sheet. The packing material may also be a molded packing material that includes bonds comprising adhesive and cellulosic fibers. The adhesive and cellulosic fibers of the bonds may be dispersed between the folds of each of the cellulosic cushioning elements.

A depression is in the outer surface of the wall or walls. One or more labels, is or are embedded in the depression in the outer surface of the wall. Abstract: A wafer container includes a pod, a door, a wafer cassette with a top wall, a baseplate, and a biasing member. The pod includes side wall(s), a closed end, and an open end. When closed by the door, the baseplate is located between the door and the wafer cassette and the biasing member is compressed between the wafer cassette and the closed end of the pod. A size adaption system for securing a wafer cassette within an internal space of a closed pod includes a baseplate and a biasing member. The baseplate includes at least one of a projection for coupling the baseplate and the wafer cassette and a notch for coupling the baseplate and the door. The biasing member to be disposed in compression between the wafer cassette and a closed end of the pod.

Abstract: A storage container with improved strength and airtightness, and a method for manufacturing the storage container are provided. The storage container includes, as a functional resin member, an insert component for a container body insert-molded with a molding material containing predetermined resin. The functional resin member is a side wall plate with support pieces. The side wall plate has a thick portion having at least a thickness of a side wall of the container body, and a thin joint portion formed around the thick portion, to be interposed into and joined to a peripheral wall of the container body. Most of the peripheral wall and the thin joint portion are engaged and joined to enlarge their contact area to eliminate a decrease of the mechanical strength and leakage around the peripheral edge of the side wall plate and prevent the peripheral wall from parting from the side wall plate.

A transparent or translucent insert section that can be releasably attached to the sleeve body. The sleeve body can be made of a non-slip, elastic material, such as neoprene rubber. The insert section can be made of plastic and can include a logo printed or engraved thereon. The apparatus can include a light emitting device that illuminates the transparent/translucent insert section.

Abstract: A cover sheet for a multi-compartment package for dispensing plural items is disclosed. The package includes plural individual sealed compartment units which are releasably secured to each other. Each compartment unit includes a flanged base from which a chamber depends. The chamber holds an item to be dispensed and is surrounded by a flange. The cover sheet, includes respective closure members releasably secured to each other by frangible lines. Each closure member is configured to be adhesively secured to the flange of each compartment unit. Each closure member includes plural arcuate tamper-evident cuts therein located adjacent respective corners of the closure member to initiate a tear upon attempted removal of the closure member from the flange of its associated compartment unit.

Abstract: Methods of installing a purge fluid conditioning element into an interior space of a semiconductor substrate carrying container are described. The purge fluid conditioning element is installed from outside the semiconductor substrate carrying container through a port formed in one of the walls of the container, where the port is sized to permit the purge fluid conditioning element to be inserted into the interior space of the container by installing the purge fluid conditioning element through the port. The wall may be a bottom wall of the container or another wall of the container. The described methods eliminate the need to install the purge fluid conditioning element from the inside of the container which can cause human contamination of the interior environment of the container.

Abstract: The invention provides a product for preparing a beverage for consumption and a method for producing such a product. The product comprises a tubular casing which is at least partly made of a material permeable to liquid, an internal space provided on the inside of the casing, a first retaining body and a second retaining body which are also provided on the inside of the casing and delimit the internal space on mutually opposite ends thereof, as well as flavoring material for preparing a beverage. The flavoring material is provided in the internal space and, when immersed in the liquid, such as water, releases flavorings into the liquid for the purpose of preparing the beverage.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a protective housing for carrying a rigid vessel. In use, the vessel will contain liquid. The housing comprises a casing. The casing includes a peripheral wall, a base and a top. The base and top are connected to the peripheral wall to define a volume for containing the vessel. The protective housing further comprises an impact absorber. The impact absorber is disposed, in use, between the vessel and casing to reduce transferral, to the vessel, of a force applied to the casing. There is also an aperture in the casing for accessing a closure section of the vessel while the vessel is in the protective housing.

Guide tracks are provided on the incomplete peripheral wall along at least part of the first side edge and the second side edge. A peripheral wall segment is provided that is shaped and sized to fill the gap in the incomplete peripheral wall. The peripheral wall segment slides into the guide tracks on the first section.
