  • Patent number: 10805131
Abstract: Systems and methods of pre-allocating identifiers to wireless devices for use in requesting resources over a random access channel are described. A wireless communication system includes a random access channel over which wireless devices can anonymously send requests for resources. The base stations receiving and processing the anonymous requests reduces the probability of random access channel collisions and conserves the resources needed to support the anonymous requests by pre-allocating one or more identifiers to select wireless devices. The wireless devices having the pre-allocated codes can transmit a particular code over the random access channel as a request for resources that uniquely identifies the requester.

  • Patent number: 10764909
Abstract: The hidden node problem can be avoided by scheduling stations in different sectors to perform transmissions during different time periods. Sectorized scheduling can be communicated to stations through transmission of beamformed beacon signals at the beginning of respective time periods. For instance, a first beamformed beacon signal may be transmitted to stations in a first sector at the beginning of a first time period, while a second beamformed beacon signal may be transmitted to stations in a second sector at the beginning of a second time period.

  • Patent number: 10764934
Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a terminal device to access a wireless Local Area Network LAN. When a terminal device needs to connect to the wireless LAN, a smart terminal device firstly acquires first access information of the wireless LAN and validates whether the first access information is correct; and when the first access information is correct, the smart terminal device sends the first access information to the terminal device, such that the terminal device utilizes the first access information to access the wireless LAN. The method can ensure the first access information sent to the terminal device is correct, i.e., the terminal device can successfully access the wireless LAN by utilizing the first access information. Thereby, the method can improve the success rate of accessing the wireless LAN by the terminal device.

  • Patent number: 10728181
Abstract: A method and an information handling system (IHS) transform an initial message having an identified protocol format to an encapsulated message having an advanced message queuing protocol (AMQP) format. A dynamic message brokering (DMB) module interacts with an AMQP client application to generate a binding key and a routing key corresponding to message attributes of the initial message. The DMB module dynamically applies one or more of the binding key and the routing key to respective programming command modules, including a provider module, to generate an AMQP client message which is forwarded to an AMQP server. The AMQP server creates a queue for messages having attributes that are identifiable within the received client message, and uses the binding key to bind the queue to a specified exchange. The AMQP server routes the received client message to the queue, using the routing key, enabling subscribers to retrieve the messages.

  • Patent number: 10720988
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for providing end-to-end beamforming. For example, end-to-end beamforming systems include end-to-end relays and ground networks to provide communications to user terminals located in user beam coverage areas. The ground segment can include geographically distributed access nodes and a central processing system. Return uplink signals, transmitted from the user terminals, have multipath induced by a plurality of receive/transmit signal paths in the end to end relay and are relayed to the ground network. The ground network, using beamformers, recovers user data streams transmitted by the user terminals from return downlink signals. The ground network, using beamformers generates forward uplink signals from appropriately weighted combinations of user data streams that, after relay by the end-end-end relay, produce forward downlink signals that combine to form user beams.

  • Patent number: 10673742
Abstract: A method is implemented by a network device in a network including a plurality of network devices. The method implements multicast forwarding configuration resulting in reduced state for the network by utilizing unicast tunneling between a root, replication points and leaves that implement each multicast distribution tree. The method selects a multicast group to determine forwarding configuration for the selected multicast group, prunes a shortest path tree for the selected multicast group to generate a source group tree, and determines whether the network device is a root or a replication node for the source group tree. The method further checks whether a downstream leaf or replicating node is adjacent to the network device, and where the selected branch does not have an adjacent replication node or leaf, identifies the next replicating node or leaf on the selected branch, and configures the network device to forward multicast group traffic using a unicast tunnel.
