  • Patent number: 10478959
Abstract: A hand-held power tool which includes a gear housing with a gear for transmitting a torque, generated by a drive motor, to a spindle. The gear housing is exchangeably connectable to a tool attachment via an interface in such a way that a torque is transmitted from the spindle to an input spindle of the tool attachment. The interface includes a housing-side interface element with a flange ring, which is connected to the gear housing in a torsionally stiff manner. The housing-side interface element corresponds to a tool attachment-side interface element which includes a fastening ring that is rotatably supported on the tool attachment. The fastening ring is brought into engagement with the flange ring by a coupled rotatory and axial relative movement of the fastening ring with respect to the flange ring so that the fastening ring and the flange ring together form a bayonet-type connector.

  • Patent number: 10471522
Abstract: A drill has a thinning rake face formed in the front end. An intersection ridgeline between the thinning rake face and the tip flank face is the thinning edge. On the opposite side of the rotation direction, the first and second thinning wall surfaces (6b, 6c) and are formed. Viewed from the front, an intersection angle between the thinning edge (4a) and the first thinning ridgeline is larger than 95°. The second thinning ridgeline (L2) is bent to the opposite side of the rotation direction. The thinning edge and the first thinning ridgeline are connected via a concave curve line. The first and second thinning wall surfaces are connected via a concave surface, and a curvature radius of the concave curve line is smaller than a curvature radius of the concave surface.

  • Patent number: 10471518
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine tool, in particular a hand held machine tool, which has a tool-accommodating device which can be moved, in particular in oscillating fashion, about a drive axis, in order to retain a tool device on the machine tool. The tool-accommodating device has at least one clamping device, at least one retaining device and at least one locking device. The retaining device can be moved from at least one first, open position into at least one second, closed position. It is also the case that the retaining device can be forced by a clamping force, by way of the clamping device, preferably in the closing direction from said first, open position in the direction of said second, closed position. The locking device can be moved between at least one first, locking position and at least one second, unlocking position. It is possible here for said locking device to block movement of the retaining device in at least one locking position.

  • Patent number: 10427221
Abstract: A workholding chuck that allows for a sizable gripping range by utilizing a rotary clamping method with dual stage motion. The dual stage rotary gripping chuck allows small diameter parts to be clamped, as well as parts that are larger than the main chuck body diameter. The dual stage motion allows resistance to be first achieved by lightly clamping on a workpiece, which is then converted to a high force-to-movement ratio. The workholding chuck employs two helical connections that allow for a large gripping diameter variation with a short amount of axial travel.
