Abstract: In a multi-cloud computing environment comprising a plurality of cloud platforms with each cloud platform comprising one or more nodes, a method maintains at a given one of the nodes in the multi-cloud computing environment a blockchain instance in accordance with a decentralized blockchain network comprised of at least a subset of the nodes in the multi-cloud computing environment wherein each of the subset of nodes locally maintain a blockchain instance. Further, the method maintains at the given one of the nodes a global state database which is locally synchronized with the locally maintained blockchain instance and stores identifying information about nodes in the multi-cloud computing environment, wherein the identifying information comprises information on how to find one or more of the nodes.

One or more attributes for the information associated with the entity is identified. A relevance profile associated with the one or more attributes is generated. A plurality of posts from the one or more social media sites is identified, wherein at least a portion of the plurality of posts includes at least a portion of the one or more attributes for the information associated with the entity. At least the portion of the plurality of posts is ordered on a display based upon, at least in part, the relevance profile associated with the one or more attributes.

Abstract: A system for managing web traffic comprising a meta control operating on a first processor having a first control interface and configured to generate a request for content and to transmit the request for content over a digital data network to a meta control server. The meta control server operating on a second processor and configured to receive the request for content and to select data for one or more second control interfaces as a function of data associated with the first control interface and to transmit the data for the one or more second control interfaces over the digital data network to the first control interface. The first control interface displays the data for the one or more second control interfaces and monitors user activity associated with the data.

Abstract: A method may include receiving peer data describing a set of peer clients associated with a demand response application server and describing how the peer clients communicate with one another. The peer data may be configured so that a subset of the peer clients directly communicate with the demand response application server and the demand response application server does not directly communicate with each of the peer clients. The method may also include receiving announcement data describing an event specified by the demand response application server and determining event response data responsive to the announcement data. The method may also include identifying, from the set of peer clients specified by the demand response application server, a set of recipient peer clients to receive the event response data.

The transport module may collect one or more messages including one or more event logs from one or more remote hosts, respectively. The event parser may generate normalized events consumable by the network logging host from the collected messages. The method further includes selecting at least one similarity metric for the logical group of network devices. The method also includes determining a value of the similarity metric for each of the network devices of the logical group. The method further includes comparing values of the similarity metric corresponding to each of the network devices of the logical group against a threshold value. The method also includes determining an action to be taken at one or more of the network devices based on the comparison between the values of the similarity metric and the threshold. There may also be multiple interconnected groups, each performing these actions independently and conveying the computed information between each other.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes identifying a mobile service provider network (SPN) and a geographic location of an online social network user and accessing a service-provider table associated with the identified mobile SPN and with the geographic location. The service-provider table indexes a reliability score and a sampling amount for multiple messaging-service providers in the geographic location. The method further determines, based on the service-provider table, whether any of the messaging-service providers has a sampling amount below a threshold sampling amount and sends messaging traffic via the determined messaging-service provider until the sampling amount is greater than or equal to the threshold sampling amount. The messaging traffic is used to update the reliability score for the messaging-service provider.

Abstract: Technologies are provided in example embodiments for associating a subscriber list to mapping data of a virtual machine, adding subscriber information of a network device to the subscriber list when a map request for the mapping data is received from the network device, and purging the subscriber information from the subscriber list when a preconfigured time period assigned to the subscriber information expires. In particular embodiments, the subscriber information includes an identification of the network device and the mapping data includes a virtual address of the virtual machine mapped to a physical address of the virtual machine. More specific embodiments include sending a notification signal with new mapping data of the virtual machine to each one of one or more network devices identified in corresponding subscriber information stored in the subscriber list. In further specific embodiments, the network device is either a map server or a map resolver.
