  • Patent number: 5851045
Abstract: A window frame attachment structure uses a projection affixed to a window fitting into a cut-out in the window frame for guiding installation of the window. A pair of ribs spaced above either side of the projection permit an installer to view the fitting of the projection into the cut-out. After installation, an interior trim is pulled over the positioning member to rest on the ribs, thereby hiding the positioning member. The edge of the trim is thickened to form a lip which rests on the ribs.

  • Patent number: 5842713
Abstract: A stroller having wide wheels for use on soft sand. A forward wheel is mounted midline supported by a forward frame portion that is hingedly connected to a rear frame portion on which are mounted spaced apart rear wheels so that another stroller's forward wheel will nest therebetween. The hinge connecting the frame portions enables folding them to be parallel to one another and unfolding to lie in a common plane but prevents rotation beyond that plane. A vertical strut hinged to the rear of the rear portion is attached to a diagonal strut hinged to the rear of the forward frame portion to secure the use position, and a handle is hinged to the diagonal strut. The various components fold to lie parallel to one another in a compact storage position. A fabric or mesh seat is mounted on the diagonal strut and a footrest on the forward frame portion.

  • Patent number: 5839778
Abstract: A locking arrangement for the releasable fastening of a vehicle roof on an immovable vehicle body which part has at least one hook lock whose locking hook is displaceable between its unlocked and its locked position in the longitudinal direction. A transverse displacement of the hook end takes place during the longitudinal displacement of the locking hook causing the hook end to move between its hooked and unhooked position. Devices are provided which control the transverse displacement of the hook end which have interacting positioning devices arranged on the vehicle roof and on the vehicle body part. The transverse displacement of the hook end is controlled by a slidable guiding of the locking hook.
