Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for communication. A method of communication comprises receiving, at a terminal device and from a network device of a communication network, a configuration comprising a pattern of a gap and a RRC reconfiguration to be applied during the gap for reduction of a capability of the terminal device to communicate with the communication network; and applying the RRC reconfiguration upon a start of the gap. Thereby, the capability of the terminal device can be flexibly coordinated, and thus services at networks of USIMs can be performed in a more flexible and efficient way.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically testing a network switch are disclosed according to various embodiments. In one example, a method for automatically and simultaneously testing Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports and traffic throughput of a network switch is disclosed. A data traffic is generated by a network tester with a predetermined speed based on a configuration of the network switch. The data traffic is directed through the PoE ports of the network switch. At least one PoE tester connected to the network switch via the PoE ports of the network switch is configured, e.g. by a test application running on a test computer. A first result of testing the PoE ports is obtained by the test computer from the at least one PoE tester. A second result of testing the traffic throughput of the network switch is obtained by the test computer from the network tester.

The UE may transmit, via the first RAT, a service request indicating the core network service offered by the service-based network associated with the second RAT. The UE may receive, from the DU, control signaling indicating a service configuration for communicating with the core network service offered by the service-based network. The UE may then transmit, to the DU via the first RAT and in accordance with the service configuration, a service message including a payload associated with the core network service, the payload in a format associated with the second RAT.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes forming a first hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) part and a second HARQ-ACK part associated with a HARQ-ACK payload. The HARQ-ACK payload including HARQ feedback for each one of a group of downlink transmissions received from a network node. A size of the second HARQ-ACK part is a function of the first HARQ-ACK part. The method also includes separately encoding the first HARQ-ACK part and the second HARQ-ACK part. The method further includes multiplexing the encoded first HARQ-ACK part in accordance with a first beta offset value and the encoded second HARQ-ACK part in accordance with a second beta offset value. Abstract: Emergency calls that use real time text (RTT) in addition to audio face a challenge: between an originating endpoint (e.g., a cellular network) sending a session initiation protocol (SIP) invite and receiving the response (e.g., 200 OK) from a downstream terminating endpoint (e.g., a peering network), the media attribute fields associated with the text and audio data may become swapped. Three options are disclosed for dealing with this issue. (1) The originating endpoint may swap the protocol paths for the RTT and audio data so that the public safety answering point (PSAP) and the user equipment (UE) are able to communicate. (2) The originating endpoint may send a correction request to the terminating endpoint. (3) If default protocol paths are specified for RTT and audio, the originating endpoint uses the default protocol paths independently of whether the SIP invite or response specified the correct data type and protocol path association.
