  • Patent number: 12148136
Abstract: An image processing system receives a digital image and analyzes the digital image to determine a resolution limit, referred to herein as “feature resolution,” for measuring a metric for features of the image within an acceptable margin of error. Specifically, the system segments a digital image and calculates the error associated with the segmented data when features within a certain range a measured metric (e.g., size range) are removed from the segmented data. This analysis can be repeatedly performed with different cutoff values for the metric until at least a threshold amount of error is reached, thereby indicating a resolution limit at the boundary of an acceptable amount of error.

  • Patent number: 12143896
Abstract: The disclosure generally pertains to systems and methods for providing a vehicle- and drone-based tracking system. In an example method, a tracker system associated with a vehicle may be initiated. At least one parameter associated with a route may be received via the tracker system. A first notification may subsequently be received from a device, and the first notification may be associated with a first location of the device. After a first predetermined period of time since the first notification is received, a second notification may be received from the device. The second notification may be associated with a second location of the device. The tracker system may then determine, based on the second notification, that the second location of the device is within the at least one parameter associated with the route.

  • Patent number: 12137388
Abstract: A method for localizing a target device (TD) by a user device (UD) includes determining whether the TD is within a range and within a field-of-view (FoV) of the UD based on a UWB channel between the TD and the UD. In response to a determination that the TD is outside the range and not within the FoV, the method includes identifying a first electronic device. The method also includes transmitting, to the first electronic device, a request for localizing the TD using an out-of-band channel. The method further includes receiving, from the first electronic device, location information of the TD on the out-of-band channel. The location information represents a candidate location of the TD in a coordinate system of the first or a second electronic device. Additionally, the method includes identifying a TD location with respect to a coordinate system of the UD based on the candidate location.

  • Patent number: 12131515
Abstract: A system and method for real-time image transformation monitoring for a display unit receives, via a pixel buffer, pixels of source image data and appends fiducial data to each pixel, the fiducial data corresponding to a reference checksum associated with a transformation map for one or more transformations of the source image into an output image for display. When source image data is read out of the pixel buffer, e.g., as a sequence of pixel datasets, an image transformation monitor extracts the fiducial data appended to each dataset and incorporates each set of extracted fiducial data into a checksum calculation for the current source image. When the transformed output image is complete, the cumulative checksum calculation for the current source image is compared to the reference checksum, determining a system status or detecting a system fault based on whether or not the checksum calculation and reference calculation are equivalent.

  • Patent number: 12101641
Abstract: Techniques for asymmetric dynamic spectrum sharing are discussed herein. A first portion of spectrum can share spectrum between Long Term Evolution (LTE) and New Radio (NR) radio access technologies (RATs). A second portion of spectrum can be allocated to a particular RAT without sharing. Thus, control signals associated with both RATs can be associated with the shared portion. However, for the portion not shared, control signals for the particular RAT (e.g., NR) can be used without the control signals from the other RAT (e.g., LTE), thereby increasing capacity in the portion not shared.
