Patent number: 12387494Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for warehouse storage-location monitoring, a computer device, and a storage medium. The method includes the following. Video data of a warehouse storage-location area is obtained, and a target image corresponding to the warehouse storage-location area is obtained based on the video data, where the warehouse storage-location area includes an area of a storage-location and an area around the storage-location. The target image is detected based on a category detection model, to determine a category of each object appearing in the target image. A detection result is obtained by detecting a status of each object based on the category of each object. The detection result is transmitted to a warehouse scheduling system, where the detection result is used for the warehouse scheduling system to monitor the warehouse storage-location area.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2022Date of Patent: August 12, 2025Assignee: VisionNav Robotics USA Inc.Inventors: Bingchuan Yang, Yujie Lu, Mu Fang, Luyang Li, Peng Chen

Patent number: 12374138Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting text in videos. To address problems with conventional Optical Character Recognition (OCR) systems, the present disclosure provides detection of text for improved OCR. Aspects of the present disclosure can, therefore, be utilized to detect a textual logo in videos, including when the text of the textual logo is clearly visible and when the text is inferred. Thus, examples capture appearance time of a textual logo from a video view perspective. Aspects use a multi-threshold pipeline for detecting video frames including the textual logo. A textual-visual scoring system is additionally used to leverage visual aspects of text in logos. A shot detection system is used to detect inferred text beyond a detected video frame. One or more verification models can be further applied.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2022Date of Patent: July 29, 2025Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Eliyahu Strugo, Yonit Hoffman

Patent number: 12354385Abstract: The present disclosure provides an image processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: obtaining a first three-dimensional image of a target object in a three-dimensional coordinate system; determining a target plane of the target object in the first three-dimensional image, the target plane comprising target three-dimensional points; projecting the target three-dimensional points to a two-dimensional coordinate system defined on the target plane, to obtain target two-dimensional points; determining a target polygon and a minimum circumscribed target graphic of the target polygon according to the target two-dimensional points; and recognizing the minimum circumscribed target graphic as a first target graphic of the target object in the first target three-dimensional image.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 2022Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: TENCENT TECHNOLOGY (SHENZHEN) COMPANY LIMITEDInventors: Shenghao Zhang, Yonggen Ling, Wanchao Chi, Yu Zheng, Xinyang Jiang

Patent number: 12354317Abstract: An image recognition method applied to an electronic device is provided. The method includes obtaining a recognition region and a plurality of test regions. A plurality of first prediction results is obtained by predicting each of the plurality of test regions using a first recognition model. A prediction accuracy rate is calculated. A plurality of target regions is obtained from the plurality of test regions, and a second recognition model is obtained by adjusting the first recognition model based on the prediction accuracy rate and the plurality of target regions. An initial feature matrix is obtained by inputting the recognition region in the second recognition model. A target vector is generated according to a target feature matrix and an initial weight matrix; and a recognition result of the image to be recognized is obtained by inputting the target vector into the second recognition model.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2023Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: HON HAI PRECISION INDUSTRY CO., LTD.Inventor: Chien-Wu Yen

Patent number: 12354215Abstract: A method is disclosed to automatically detect overhangs from images with depth taken around an object during a scan of the object. An overhang detector can use an intersection of three filters based on these images and depth data associated with the images. The first filter looks for negative depth gradients along a 2D projection of a gravity vector, which is generally a vertical axis for images taken using a portrait orientation. The second filter selects the depth gradients that are oriented towards the projection of the gravity vector. The third filter is a salient object detection mask computed from the image. An intersection of the three filters can then be used to obtain overhangs. The method can be implemented in real time with a User Interface (UI) directing a user of a location of the overhang so that an image below the overhang can be taken.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2022Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Pierre-Alain Langlois, Frederic Laurent Pascal Devernay

Patent number: 12322120Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and apparatus for monitoring delivered packages using video. A method includes obtaining a notification of a delivery of a package at a property that includes a first image depicting the package; obtaining a second image captured by a camera at the property; determining, using the first image and the second image, that the package has been delivered to the property; generating a package model that represents an appearance of the package; and tracking a location of the package for use in determining whether to provide an alert to a device about the location of the package. Determining that the package has been delivered to the property comprises: comparing the first image to a model of a scene of the property; determining that the first image satisfies similarity criteria for matching the model of the scene; and determining that the second image likely depicts the package.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2022Date of Patent: June 3, 2025Assignee: Alarm.com IncorporatedInventors: Daniel Todd Kerzner, Allison Beach, Donald Gerard Madden, Ethan Shayne

Patent number: 12299899Abstract: Provided is a method for predicting a location of a fast-moving object. The method includes receiving event information from an event camera, the event information corresponding to an event detected by the event camera, generating a Binary Event History Image (BEHI) based on the event information, providing the BEHI as an input to an event-based neural network, obtaining, as an output of the event-based neural network, a first predicted location of the fast-moving object, a normal distribution indicating prediction uncertainty of the predicted location, and a predicted time-to-collision (TTC). The method further includes estimating a second predicted location of the fast-moving object based on the first predicted location, the normal distribution, and the predicted TTC output by the event-based neural network, and actuating a mechanical catching device to be at the second predicted location.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 2022Date of Patent: May 13, 2025Assignees: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD., The Trustees of the University of PennsylvaniaInventors: Ziyun Wang, Fernando Cladera Ojeda, Anthony Robert Bisulco, Dae Won Lee, Camillo J.
