Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for performing automated, cloud-based migrations of entitled digital assets. A set of entitlement data corresponding to a set of digital assets installed on a first system is processed with a set of digital asset source data to generate an equivalent set of digital assets. A first identifier associated with the source system is then cross-referenced to a second identifier associated with a target system. The second identifier and the set of entitlement data are processed to generate a second set of digital asset entitlements entitling the target system to use the set of equivalent digital assets. A migration request and the second identifier are then processed to provide the set of equivalent digital assets to the target system.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of management of queries for crowd searching is presented. In the method, an input model including input data e structured queries using query operators is mapped into an output model, which is obtained by modifying the input data and by adding the answers to the structured queries. Input data comprise at least one search object, which may be imported from a search system, at least one structured query operator corresponding to social interactions and a human-generated question related to the at least one search object. Mapping of the input model is according to a query task execution plan that defines a query task to be solved by a crowd, wherein mapping comprises selecting at least one social search engine running on a respective social platform and selecting one or more groups of responders interacting with the at least one social search engines and targeted to respond to the query task.

Abstract: A difference in tendency of times associated with combinations of content clusters and user clusters among the user clusters is reflected in a result of correspondence between the content cluster and the user cluster. A data acquisition unit acquires association data indicating a combination of a content belonging to the content cluster, a user belonging to one of a plurality of user clusters, and a time relating to a combination of the content and the user. A dividing unit divides, under a condition that the tendency of the times associated with the users in the association data differs among the plurality of user clusters to which the users belong, the content cluster into a plurality of clusters each corresponding to at least one of the plurality of user clusters.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mapping and propagating a source dataset to a plurality of target tables in a target database are described herein. Embodiments include a physical database design with a template-based loader, and a method to propagate changes in the source dataset to a target database. Other embodiments include a database physical design with a plurality of small fact and summary tables. Still other embodiments include a method of extracting and loading data automatically into a target database, while simultaneously maintaining current summary tables.

Abstract: A distributed database transaction coordination manager's outcome store may be unavailable to resolve in-doubt transactions locally, e.g., after an unclean detach, during an outcomes store restore, or during a logical database restore. To facilitate transactional consistency, AGEs and values based on them are used. Some code avoids reformatting any closed physical portion for reuse based on the segment's most recently received minimum of persisted AGEs. Some code commits any in-doubt transactions that appear on an aggregate list and aborts any not on the aggregate list. Some code writes each segment's transaction commit records to persistent storage until the segment's persisted-AGE is not less than a common-restore-AGE, and some code resolves any in-doubt transactions based on a harvested outcomes list. Outcomes may reside in a log or a persisted transactions table. A restore checkpoint may include harvested outcomes. Segments may reside on cloud nodes and/or in a shared nothing database system.

Abstract: A system and method for digitally classifying and analyzing exposure to behavioral influencers to probabilistically determine behaviors likely to be demonstrated by an individual or cohorts of individuals based on a combination of demographic and psychographic attributes. The system and method transforms raw data into useful data elements having associated exteroceptive values and other metadata that is useful for further evaluation, analysis, integration into a model, or other behavioral data utilization.

Abstract: A technique can include identifying a collection of documents to be clustered. The collection of documents can include foreign language documents and base language documents. The foreign language documents can be translated into the base language at a base language translation module. Keywords in the base language documents and keywords in the translated foreign language documents can be determined at a document indexing module. The base language documents can be clustered with the foreign language documents in a common set of document clusters based on the determined keywords in the base language documents and the determined keywords in the translated foreign language documents. In response to a search query in a first language, a listing of search results can be provided that includes documents in the first language and another language from the a common document cluster.

Abstract: A clustered database environment (e.g. Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)) includes multiple database instances that appear as one server. An application server (e.g. WebLogic Server (WLS)) can use a data source (e.g. an Oracle GridLink data source) and connection pools to connect with the clustered database. In accordance with an embodiment, a data source configuration allows for specification of a preferred affinity policy, such as a data affinity, temporal affinity, and/or session or session-based affinity policy. In accordance with an embodiment, the system includes a number of features that improve application connectivity in the clustered database environment, including a select-only case for application continuity, wherein an application-independent infrastructure, e.g. implemented within a Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) driver, enables recovery of work from an application perspective and masks system communications, hardware failures and hangs.

Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for aligning records for visual comparison are described herein. In one aspect, the method includes identifying a plurality of records. A reference record is selected from the plurality of records. One or more non-reference record is merged into the reference record to generate a merged reference record. The merged reference record includes one or more fields missing in the reference record. The missing fields are included as blank fields from the non-reference records. The merged reference record is merged into a non-reference record to generate the merged non-reference record. The merged non-reference record includes fields missing in the non-reference record. Missing fields are included as blank fields. The merged records are displayed on a user interface in a card view.

Abstract: An approach is presented for generating a log parser. A tokenized log comprising elements is generated by delimiting a sample log based on a token. Matches between elements and attributes of fields of the sample log are determined. Positions of the matched elements are determined. Based on the matches, a ranking of the token is determined, which indicates a first likelihood that the token is a delimiter that delimits parts of the sample log. Another ranking of another token is determined, which indicates a second likelihood that the other token is the delimiter. A parser is generated based on the positions, the matches and the token. Based on the first likelihood exceeding the second likelihood, a result of parsing the sample log using the parser is presented without presenting another result of parsing the log using another parser based on the other token.

Abstract: A horizontal anomaly detection method includes receiving at plurality of objects described in a plurality of information sources, wherein each individual information source captures a plurality of similarity relationships between the objects, combining the information sources to determine a similarity matrix whose entries represent quantitative scores of similarity between pairs of the objects, and identifying at least one horizontal anomaly of the objects within the similarity matrix, wherein the horizontal anomalies are anomalous relationships across the plurality of information sources.

Abstract: A computer-based method of analyzing call center data comprising collecting reports from customer care agents, wherein the reports comprise logged data of incoming customer calls; compiling the reports into a first data set; dividing the first data set into categories based on the incoming calls; determining a distribution within the categories; removing suspect data from the first data set to form a groomed data set; determining a distribution within the categories of the groomed data set; comparing the distribution of the first data set to the distribution of the groomed data set to form a confidence value; determining limits for a deviation of the data of the reports from the distribution of the groomed data set; comparing the deviation of a given customer care agent to the limits; and taking an action based on the comparing.

Abstract: A method includes: classifying sampling points (SPs) into ranks so as to satisfy a condition such as a condition that no SP belonging to a certain rank is dominated by another SP belonging to a rank higher than the certain rank; determining, in ascending order from a lowest rank, whether a first SP belonging to a first rank dominates a second SP belonging to a second rank higher than the first rank. When the first SP dominates, while changing the rank from a rank immediately lower than the first rank to the lowest rank, the first SP and SPs dominating the first SP and included in a first set of the first SP are added to a dominating source set of the second SP, and the first SP and SPs in the first set are excluded from SPs for which the determining is executed with respect to the second SP.
