  • Patent number: 11193600
Abstract: A solenoid valve system includes a valve body defining porting for a fluid flow through the valve body, and first and second solenoid valve components attached oppositely to the valve body. Each valve component includes an electromagnetically driven armature with a poppet that moves between a closed position and an open position. The porting defined by the valve body includes first side porting, second side porting, and common porting in fluid communication with an internal common chamber defined by the valve body. When a respective poppet is in the closed position, flow of fluid is blocked between the respective side porting and the common porting, and when the respective poppet is in the open position the poppet permits a flow of fluid between the respective side porting and the common porting through the common chamber.

  • Patent number: 11130579
Abstract: A device that equalizes an aircraft pressure difference has a separating wall, fixable to the aircraft, and a decompression valve. The wall is for fluidically separating first and second spaces, and has a flow opening that fluidically connects the spaces. The valve closes the flow opening. A securing element on the valve or wall enables a release of the valve when a pressure gradient between the spaces is exceeded, such that there is a fluidic connection between the spaces. The receiving element on the wall or valve is connected to the receiving element. The securing element has a rotary element and fixing elements. The rotary element is rotatably mounted about a rotational shaft. The rotary element is receivable in the receiving element. The fixing elements non-rotatably fix the rotary element beneath the predetermined pressure gradient. At least one of the fixing elements is a spring.

  • Patent number: 11125257
Abstract: Embodiments of a Flow Conditioning System (“FCS”) of this disclosure may be used for homogenizing a fluid containing a gas phase and a liquid phase. In some embodiments the FCS may be applied to a fluid containing hydrocarbons. The FCS may be located where appropriate, including but not limited to subsea. The FCS may be used for homogenizing slug flow. In embodiments, the FCS may be composed of an outer shroud pipe section, into which a concentric perforated smaller pipe is inserted at the top. The inlet slug flow regime is changed at the shroud section whereby the slugs are broken, transitioning to well-mixed flow regimes, such as bubbly flow or continuous churn flow. The bubbly or continuous churn flow that occur in the shroud section are forced to pass through the perforations of the perforated smaller diameter pipe, which promote a more thorough mixing of the phases upstream of devices such as multiphase pumps.

  • Patent number: 11118695
Abstract: Multiport valve with outlets transverse to the inlet useful as a coker switch valve. A sealed lower sleeve assembly provides semi-trunnion ball support. An upper part of the outlet seat recesses is formed in the bonnet, and a lower part in the valve body, which together bias a resilient member to load the seats, independently of end connections. Before bonnet assembly, when the ball is rotated to face a body outlet, there is sufficient space in the seat recesses to insert the seat, slide the seat onto the ball, and then insert the resilient member. When all the seats and resilient members are in place, engagement of the bonnet biases the upper part of the resilient members to load the seat. In valve operation, an enlarged ball outlet bore can straddle two outlet ports and maintain process media flow during switching. Also, methods of assembling, operating, and servicing the valve.
