Abstract: A wine glass constructed from molded plastic includes an upper body defining an upwardly narrowed flume for concentrating the wine bouquet, in combination with a contoured lower base defining an annular moat surrounding a central punt for enhanced visual inspection of the wine. In addition, the upper body further includes a notched indent at an outboard side thereof forming a shelf for facilitated fingertip grasping and manipulation of the assembled glass. In one form, the upper body and lower base of the wine glass are provided as separate modules adapted for assembly to form the wine glass, and disassembly for respective compact stacking. In another form, the wine glass has a one-piece construction adapted for compact stacking by nested reception of the upwardly narrowed flume partially into the underside of the lower base of an overlying glass in the stack.

Abstract: The portable device for storing and retrieving items of apparel reduces the burden of packing and unpacking items. The portable device comprises a housing made of a first housing member and a second housing member (20, 30, 90) that is attached to at least one extension member (10, 28). The extension member can hold a plurality of apparel items (12). The portable device can be opened to view all of the well-organized items or the luggage can be closed to move the items as desired by a user. This can enable the user to easily travel without the burden of packing and unpacking because the items only leave the luggage when the items are in use.

Abstract: A cover for a beverage dispensing container is provided that is adapted to be positioned directly over the container. The cover includes a decorative exterior that provides the desired aesthetic appearance to the container. The cover is shaped to conform to the shape of the container such that the cover encloses the container with the exception of the dispenser in order to enable the beverage held in the container to be easily dispensed from the container. The interior of the cover includes a number of support panels that provide sufficient rigidity to the cover to enable the cover to stand over the container.

Abstract: A heat set container including a base portion, a shoulder portion, and a sidewall portion extending from the shoulder portion to the base portion. The shoulder portion, the sidewall portion and the base portion cooperate to define a receptacle chamber within the container into which product can be filled. A plurality of vacuum panels are equidistantly disposed about the shoulder portion. A plurality of transition lands are disposed between adjacent ones of the plurality of vacuum panels and spaced outwardly relative thereto. The plurality of vacuum panels cooperate to be inwardly collapsible from a first outside diameter to a second outside diameter in response to at least internal vacuum forces.

Abstract: Container including a bottom and sidewalls with undulating pattern of peaks and valley. At least one stacking feature is provided to allow a plurality of containers to be stacked. In one embodiment, the stacking feature is disposed proximate a bottom edge of the sidewall at a peak. In another embodiment, the stacking feature is a stack flap disposed proximate a top edge of the container. Alternatively, the stacking feature is a stack ring having a shape which corresponds to the sidewall perimeter and has an inwardly protruding lip.

Abstract: In a bottle cap (10), a bottom cover member (40) is separated from an accommodation portion (22) while an outer peripheral wall (44) of an annular groove is pressed against a lower end surface (39) of an outer cylinder member (30) when a cap portion (26) that is threadedly mounted on the outer cylinder member (30) threadedly advances in an opening direction with respect to the outer cylinder member (30). The lower end surface (39) of the outer cylinder member (30) is inclined downward and outward. A ridge (45) is integrally formed with an upper edge of the outer peripheral wall (44) of the annular groove by the same material as that of the outer peripheral wall (44), where the ridge (45) is pressed against the lower end surface (39) of the outer cylinder member (30) while the cap portion (26) is threadedly mounted on the outer cylinder member (30).

Abstract: A sanitary pocket that fits over the tray table on a commercial airplane flight having two parts wherein the first part slips over the tray when it is its horizontal position. When the tray is returned to its upright vertical position, the first pocket is held in place by the securing device that secures the tray in its upright position while a second pocket hangs down from the first pocket that allows the traveler to place his or her items therein, with the peace of mind of knowing that the pocket has not been previously used by an uncountable number of persons and that the pocket is as clean and sanitary as the user dictates. Furthermore, advertising could be displayed on the pocket when in the upright position. Additionally, graphics, including game boards could be used on the first pocket when the tray is in the in-use position allowing for games, as well as providing a clean tablecloth for the user.

Abstract: The invention relates to a bottle container with a handle. A mounting projecting portion is provided on the bottle body, and a handle member is provided with a mounting hole which allows the mounting projecting portion to be inserted thereinto, and a handle portion which extends from the mounting portion, and is mounted on the bottle body by inserting the mounting projecting portion into the mounting hole, and then rotating the mounting projecting portion relative to the bottle body. The bottle body is provided with a rotation preventing member which accommodates the handle portion to prevent the relative rotation of the bottle body and the handle member in a state where the handle member has been mounted.

The body portion having a sidewall portion defining an opening there-through. The cover portion having a generally open-ring shape. The cover portion having an open position and a closed position, where the cover portion closes at least a portion of the opening when in the closed position, and where the cover portion is spaced apart from the opening when in the open position.

Abstract: A covering system includes a tarp made of an elastic membrane and a plurality of tarp fastening hooks. The fastening hooks allow the elastic membrane to be stretched over valuables and affixed to environmental anchors so that creases and puddle-enabling pockets in the membrane are eliminated. The fastening hooks clamp onto the elastic membrane and hook onto the environmental anchors to cause tension in the membrane. The clamping forces of the tarp fasteners are inherently increased in proportion to the tension in the clamped membrane.

Abstract: A garment bag for a collared shirt, the bag comprising a receptacle (52) arranged to receive a first portion of a shirt including the collar (26) and cover (40) arranged to receive the remainder of the said shirt and be rolled up around the receptacle, the receptacle being of greater rigidity than the cover. A method of folding a shirt having a back portion, two front portions, two sleeves and a collar is also disclosed, the method comprising the steps of folding the shirt centrally of the back and between the back and both front portions so that the back lies folded between the front portions, positioning one sleeve along each front portion, protecting the collar and rolling the remainder of the shirt around the protected collar. Preferably the shirt folding method and garment bag are used together.

Abstract: A technical problem of this invention especially in the case of large-size bottles is to form a grip, without changing the bottle shape to a large extent, so that the body can be firmly held. The object of this invention is to provide a synthetic resin square bottle that can be used reliably because the bottle can be held firmly with a hand. A major means of solving the problem is a synthetic resin square bottle comprising a body having a rectangular shape in a plane cross-section and a groove-like waist portion disposed at a middle height of the bottle, wherein a pair of recessed portions for use as finger stops are formed in respective long side walls of said rectangular body over a predetermined area ranging from said waist portion downward to ensure that a plural number of fingers can be placed in at least one recessed portion for a finger stop purpose, and wherein a grip for holding the bottle is formed from both the pair of recessed portions and the waist portion.

Abstract: A travel case for elongate items such as skis, golf clubs, snowboards, or the like comprises an elongate bag having a pair of hard sided end sections longitudinally spaced from a hard sided center section. Between each end section and the center section is a respective soft sided intermediate section. The hard sided end and center sections provide protection for the case contents at the vulnerable locations of those contents. The soft sided intermediate sections, made of collapsible and supple material, provide the advantage of reducing the weight of the overall case, and the suppleness permits the end sections to be folded in on the center section when the case is open along its length to educe the length and the required storage space for the case when not in use.

Abstract: A hydrogen storage tank for a hydrogen fueled aircraft. The tank has a wall made of layers of aerogel sections around a hard shell layer, sealed within a flexible outer layer, and having the air removed to form a vacuum. The periphery of each layer section abuts other sections of that layer, but only overlies the periphery of the sections of other layers at individual points. The wall is characterized by a thermal conductivity that is lower near its gravitational top than its gravitational bottom. The tank has two exit passageways, one being direct, and the other passing through a vapor shield that extends through the wall between two layers of aerogel. A control system controls the relative flow through the two passages to regulate the boil-off rate of the tank.

Abstract: Baby bottles can have a single container, or two containers to create a space for thermal isolation, as selected by the user. The baby bottle can be vented to allow air to enter the bottle through a passageway as liquid is removed. A filter and one-way valve can be provided in the passageway. The passageway can be formed by radially aligning a vent opening in a top cap with a vent opening in a nipple flange, or by providing a channel in the top cap which is always in radial alignment with both the top cap vent opening and the flange vent opening.
