Patent number: 12387210Abstract: A networked computer system enables a transaction to be executed securely. An initiator sends a service request to a control server. The control server creates a transaction server for the sole purpose of execution of the transaction requested by the service request. Creating the transaction server includes: selecting an IP address randomly from a pool of IP addresses and assigning the selected IP address to the transaction server; creating a DNS entry including a randomly-constructed hostname; and associating the DNS entry with the selected IP address. If the transaction server pre-exists, it is made accessible in response to receiving the service request. The control server informs the initiator of the created transaction server. The initiator engages in the transaction with the transaction server, independently of the control server. The transaction server terminates upon completion of the transaction or the expiration of a timeout period.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 2023Date of Patent: August 12, 2025Assignee: Stratus Digital SystemsInventors: Cary Torkelson, Kenneth Ari Chanin, Patrick J. Patent number: 12381853Abstract: A system for protecting non-public information from a malicious user determines a set of input data entered into a web application. The system determines whether each input data is associated with non-public information. In this process, the system compares each input data with each of a set of keywords that are known to be associated with non-public information. In response to determining that input data corresponds to a keyword, the system determines that the input data comprises non-public information. In response, the system masks the input data and tags an authentication instruction to the masked input data. The system may receive a request to unmask the masked input data. In response to receiving the request, the system executes the authentication instruction.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 2023Date of Patent: August 5, 2025Assignee: Bank of America CorporationInventors: Sakshi Bakshi, Sudhakar Balu, Siva Paini

Patent number: 12380243Abstract: An input image is divided into segments. The segments may be reassembled to reform the input image. The order of the segments may be stored in an encrypted database for which approved applications have the decryption key but users do not. This allows the approved applications to determine the order and reform the input image without allowing users to do the same. To further increase the difficulty of reforming the input image, the segments may be transformed. Example transformations include rotation and mirroring. The encrypted database may store an indication of the transformation applied to each segment. The effort of reforming the input image without access to the database is increased substantially. The reformed input image may be stored in transient memory only, without being stored to long-term storage. Thus, the reformed image cannot be accessed from a file system by unauthorized users.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2022Date of Patent: August 5, 2025Assignee: SAP SEInventor: Hans-Martin Ramsl
