Abstract: A photometric device for use in a camera includes, but is not limited to, a segmented brightness measuring unit which segments a photographic scene of a camera into multiple areas and which outputs corresponding multiple photometric values. A spectral analysis unit performs spectral analysis of the spatial frequency of a photographic subject using the corresponding multiple photometric values output by the segmented brightness measuring unit. Also, a photometric computation unit computes photometric values based on the spectral pattern of the photographic subject output by the spectral analysis unit. The spectral analysis unit may be disposed within the photometric device, or may be located elsewhere in a camera's body.
Abstract: A film accumulator includes a pressing mechanism for consecutively pressing a plurality of films which are consecutively fed out from a printer and a holding member in which the films are accumulated and held with widthwise sides of the pressed films retained therein. Accordingly, the plurality of films can be accumulated automatically.
Abstract: A copying area display device for a copier and allowing the operator to easily position a document on a glass platen. The device displays an effective image reading area which is easy to see. When a cover plate is opened, a carriage included in a scanner is moved to one of four sides of the effective image reading area. Scales, lamps or movable marks are arranged around the glass platen and on the carriage. Alternatively, a liquid crystal display may be built in or superposed on the glass platen to display the contour of an effective image reading area. When the cover plate is closed, the scanner is returned to a home position thereof.
