The sight has two sets of cross hairs, one in the front and one in the rear, which create positive vertical and horizontal alignment. The distance between the front and rear cross hairs is adjustable so that it can be set for the pull of the particular bow with which the sight is used.

    Abstract: An improved combination of prism assembly and sighting target in a novel structure in which the sighting target provides a dual function by acting as the structural support for the prism assembly in addition to its usual function of providing a readily observable target from long distances. More specifically, the present invention provides, in a preferred embodiment, a diamond shaped sighting target, the center of which is provided with an aperture for receiving the prism assembly housing which extends therethrough in a direction normal to the plane of the sighting target. The prism housing is secured to the sighting target by means of a bracket into which the prism assembly is threaded, the bracket being secured to the sighting target.

    Abstract: A portable foldable overhead projector includes a housing having a front opening communicating with an interior cavity, and a bottom aperture communicating with the cavity and closable by a pair of pivoting doors which, when open, support the housing on support legs and accommodate movement of a mirror inside the housing between stowed and use positions. In the use position the mirror reflects light from a source through a transmitting stage in the top wall of the housing which forms a pivoting door to provide further access to the cavity. A mast pivots along the outside of the housing and carries a foldable projection head assembly on a rack and pinion mechanism. When the mast is lowered the rack and pinion can be operated to move the folded projection head assembly through the front opening into the cavity for storage.

    Abstract: An electronic feeler gauge for measuring the dimension of a gap. A flexible base in the general shape or a shoehorn has a raised shoulder portion of greater thickness substantially along its rear half with a forwardly extending tab that acts as a stop. A strain gauge mounted substantially in line with the tab at the lower portion of the concave curve of the flexible base only measures strain across the width thereof. Electrical signals from the strain gauge are conducted to a strain meter by electrical wires for analyzing the signals and converting them to readings indicating the size of the gap into which the flexible base in inserted.

    Abstract: Metallic toothed wire is disclosed for textile fibers processing elements for processing cotton, synthetic fibers and the like, and particularly for use with cleaning rollers in which the surface is clothed with the toothed wire. The toothed wire comprises a plurality of teeth having a tooth distance (4,17) between the teeth (3,16) in a circumferential direction of at least 10 mm. The teeth (3,16) have a height which extends to about one third of the tooth distance, and preferably no more than 3 mm. The teeth have an ascending rear portion (5,20) which ascends in a rear inclination over about half the tooth distance from a tooth base (9,19) to a tooth tip. An undercut portion (8,21) which has an undercut inclination extends downwardly from the tooth tip to the base. A positive front angle (7,23) is between the rear inclination and the undercut inclination within a range of 10 degrees to 40 degrees.

    Abstract: A measuring tape assembly comprises a housing containing a rolled measuring tape which extends through a lower hole in a front wall of the housing. The upper portion of the housing contains a flashlight which directs light at an angle through an upper portion of the front wall. A switch is positioned at the top of the housing near the front wall and a tape engaging clamp is positioned on the bottom of the housing near the front wall. A spring biases the clamp into engagement with the tape so that the tape is held in any desired extended position. Pressing the clamp upwardly against its spring permits the tape to withdraw back into the housing under the influence of a conventional spiral spring which is connected to the measuring tape roll.
