    Abstract: A loudspeaker includes a radially slotted ceramic permanent magnet for reducing distortion. Other constructions include slotted top and bottom plates and radially slotted bucking magnets, in combination with slotted magnet loudspeakers. The slotted bucking magnets may be retrofitted to conventional loudspeakers.
