  • Patent number: 11803899
Abstract: Multifactor authentication techniques described herein may allow a user to submit a recent proof of purchase as a part of a multifactor authentication process to access an account associated with a financial institution. As part of the login process, the user may submit a proof of purchase associated with a transaction. The financial institution may determine information associated with the transaction, such as a merchant associated with the proof of purchase, a time of the transaction, the last four numbers of the transaction card used, a dollar amount, or any combination thereof. If the information matches one or more records in the transaction history of the user's account, the financial institution may authenticate the user and provide access to the account. In this way, the financial institution may leverage transaction history known to the financial institution and the user to authenticate the user.

  • Patent number: 11785439
Abstract: A software platform includes emergency event processing functionality for detecting and mapping emergency event occurrences. The emergency event processing includes device location registration functionality for allowing operators of the software platform to register locations of their devices. Information associated with the operator-entered location information is stored alongside network device information. When an emergency call is placed by a device registered with the software platform, the software platform identifies network device information for the device placing the emergency call and searches records generated based on the operator-indicated device locations. A location determined thereby is then signaled to a public safety answering point. This automated signaling can improve an emergency response by directing dispatched responders to a specific location verified by the operator of the device, rather than an assumed location specified by an administrator which may not actually be accurate.

  • Patent number: 11729584
Abstract: Techniques are for provided located-based contextual services to users by automatically creating location-based contextually relevant communication sessions that may take on a variety of forms, including contextual chats and micro-local services that are ephemeral, curated by a location owner and personalized by a user. As a user's context shifts throughout the day (from work to shopping to entertainment, etc.) the presented techniques filter content differently based on what the user may care about at a particular moment when the user is at a particular venue. The automatic creation and deletion of an ephemeral space/channel provides a dynamic application that changes its content or behavior based on a user's location. The user may control the interactivity level based on an adaptive user identifier by which a user's identity may take on different versions depending on location and time of day.

  • Patent number: 11716600
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a personalized entity repository. For example, a computing device comprises a personalized entity repository having fixed sets of entities from an entity repository stored at a server, a processor, and memory storing instructions that cause the computing device to identify fixed sets of entities that are relevant to a user based on context associated with the computing device, rank the fixed sets by relevancy, and update the personalized entity repository using selected sets determined based on the rank and on set usage parameters applicable to the user. In another example, a method includes generating fixed sets of entities from an entity repository, including location-based sets and topic-based sets, and providing a subset of the fixed sets to a client, the client requesting the subset based on the client's location and on items identified in content generated for display on the client.

  • Patent number: 11711753
Abstract: During operation, the radio node may, using a first interface circuit, listen for transmissions from one or more second radio nodes. Based at least in part on the transmissions, the radio node may determine a first list of discovered channels associated with the radio node and the one or more second radio nodes. Then, the radio node may, using a second interface circuit, provide the first list of discovered channels to the one or more second radio nodes. Moreover, the radio node may, using the second interface circuit, receive one or more second lists of discovered channels from the one or more second radio nodes. Next, the radio node may aggregate the first list of discovered channels and the second list of discovered channels into a list of active channels. Furthermore, the radio node may, using the first interface circuit, provide the list of active channels to an electronic device.
