  • Patent number: 6492755
Abstract: In an electric motor, a plurality of magnet shells (4, 6) arranged on a rotor (2) is preloaded against the core (8) by springs (11, 13) which engage in a core (8) of the rotor (2). The springs (11, 13) have a shape which corresponds to the magnet shells (4, 6). The magnet shells (4, 6) are thereby secured reliably by form fitting on the rotor (2). This also makes the electric motor particularly favorable in terms of cost.

  • Patent number: 6486583
Abstract: An electromagneto-mechanical converter has winding teeth composed of a material which is suitable for carrying a magnetic flux of a magnetic circuit. The winding teeth each have a winding support element for accommodating a winding, an attachment region for attaching the winding tooth to a yoke of the electromagneto-mechanical energy converter, and a transition element which tapers from the winding supporting element to the attachment region and is immediately adjacent to the yoke of the electromagneto-mechanical converter. The attachment region has a magnetic reluctance which is greater than that of the winding supporting element and the transitional element owing to a change in the grain structure of the material, so that the magnetic flux which enters the transitional element from the winding supporting element is substantially passed from the transitional element into the yoke, and the attachment region is substantially free of magnetic flux.

  • Patent number: 6459181
Abstract: An electric motor unit with continuous current containing a connection plate and a card that carries electronics for the control of the motor. The card also contains electronics to monitor the current in order to detect the blockage of the motor's rotor and electronics to control the power supply of the motor. The card and/or the plate carries devices to sense temperature. The electronics to control the power supply are linked to the device(s) sensing temperature, as well as to the electronics monitoring the current. The control electronics cuts off the power supply of the motor when blockage of the motor's rotor is detected and a temperature measured by at least one of the devices reaches a high threshold value and reestablishes the power supply of the motor when the temperature is at or below a low threshold value.

  • Patent number: 6455962
Abstract: A terminal of a motor is provided, in which a connection between a coil and an external circuit can be carried out securely and with a good workability, while saving material resources and enhancing safety relating to environmental pollution. A terminal (23) consists integrally of a magnet wire binding section (20) to connect to a magnet wire (4) of a coil (6), an external connection section (21) to connect to an external circuit and a support base section (22) to press-fit into a terminal block (19) of a bobbin (5) and hold the terminal (23), and the magnet wire (4) is plasma welded for connection through to the external connection section (21) (terminal 23). The connection of the terminal is carried out by welding (plasma welding), thus the end of the magnet wire of a motor (1) is connected without using solder containing lead.
