The first UE may forward the discovery message to one or more other UEs based on a condition associated with one or more forwarding termination parameters being satisfied. The first UE may, in some implementations, select one of a broadcast transmission or a unicast transmission for forwarding the discovery message based on one or more parameters associated with the UE. The first UE may transmit the discovery message from the second UE to the one or more other UEs using the selected broadcast or unicast transmission when the condition is satisfied.
