  • Patent number: 11232526
Abstract: The present disclosure describes techniques that facilitate a Governance Regulatory Compliance (C-GRC) controller that is configured to dynamically monitor and collate data associated with an agricultural operation for demonstrating compliance with an agricultural compliance plan. The C-GRC controller may act as a centralized server that dynamically monitors the cycle of agricultural activities for an agricultural product and in doing so, automates the governance of an agricultural compliance plan across a plurality of entities that are each responsible for one or more agricultural activities. The C-GRC controller may detect independent interactions conducted between a complying entity and a participating entity. These interactions may be intended to gather information relating to compliance of a pending task. In doing so, the C-GRC controller may update an agricultural compliance plan accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11200475
Abstract: In certain embodiments, indication-related detectable changes on a transaction token may be facilitated. In some embodiments, a transaction card may determine a state of the transaction card (e.g., during an interaction with a transaction terminal). The transaction card may generate a signal related to a color based on the state of the transaction card and cause the signal to be transmitted to a change element of the transaction card. The change element may be configured such that the change element causes one or more edges or other portions of the transaction card to be (i) a first color in response to the signal being a first signal and (ii) a second color in response to the signal being a second signal. As an example, the portions of the transaction card may turn red when the signal is a first voltage and green when the signal is a second voltage.

  • Patent number: 11188726
Abstract: Methods of detecting scan avoidance events are disclosed herein. An example method includes measuring, by a weighing scale associated with a barcode reader, an unstable weight over a timeframe having a duration that is greater than a threshold duration. The method further includes monitoring for (i) the barcode reader's failure, during the first timeframe, to transition from a first state in which an imager of the barcode reader does not transmit images for decoding to a second state in which the imager captures images over an FOV including a product scanning region and transmits the captured images for decoding; or (ii) the barcode reader's failure to decode a barcode from images captured over the FOV including the product scanning region during the first timeframe; and generating an alert indicating a potential scan avoidance event responsive to both the measured unstable weight over the timeframe and one of (i) or (ii).

  • Patent number: 11164148
Abstract: An inventory location, such as a shelf, may be used to stow different types of items in different areas of the shelf. Interactions may take place, such as the pick or place of items from the shelf. Weight data acquired from weight sensors at the shelf may be used to generate a set of hypotheses to describe types and quantities of items added to or removed from the shelf during an interaction. One or more of these hypotheses may be eliminated from consideration or selected as a solution based on activity data related to the shelf. The activity data is based on non-weight data from a non-weight sensor associated with the shelf. As an example, image data from a camera directed to the shelf can help identify presence of a user or a change in appearance at an area of the shelf to help evaluate hypotheses.
